Design Toscano English Rosette Indoor/Outdoor Sculptural Garden Plinth Base Statue Riser, Large 12.5 Inch Tall, Cast Stone Resin, Antique Stone Finish

It is the perfect podium for my garden statue. It is heavy enough to not fall over once set on the ground with stabilizing sand and rocks around it. It is of great value, with great quality and a good price.

This item is quite smaller than expected, but it's a nice addition to my little garden. I had to elevate it a little bit with a square cement brick. The packing material that the seller used (i.e., Styrofoam) made a helluva lot of mess while trying to take the item out of the box. So, I suggest buyers should open the box outdoors. I previously mentioned this issue when I purchased some other items from Design Toscano, but the seller still continues to use the same material for packing products. Styrofoam should be banned entirely for shipping all consumer goods. I am quite satisfied with the design and quality of this product. Delivery was faster than initially scheduled. But Amazon is rather tardy in updating the shipping news.

I received this a day earlier than promised and I was impressed with the craftsmanship. It looks like it's masonry but it's not. Accurate weight etc. Remember it's just less than a foot tall but it's all I needed. I used Locktite PL3 PREMIUM adhesive to bond it to the 12" paver steps and used the adhesive to bond my eagle to the pedestal. However, the top width dimensions are not correct. It's only 8.5 inches wide. It sits next to my 25' by 4" tapered estate flagpole. Perfect.

Looking at descriptions and photos of the both the large and small English Rosette Plinth it was difficult to fully recognize the size and shape difference between the two. I bought both and the small is almost too small and certainly too small for the Grande 39" Venus statue, the base of the statue would hang too far over the edge and would not look good or correct. The grande Rosette Plinth 20" is substantially larger than the small Plinth 13" just visually when you look at it in person and the 20" Plinth is shaped slightly different, not completely vertical lines as the small Plinth has, hard to tell this by the photos. The Grande Plinth surprised me is a good way and it is large enough to correctly fit the Grande Venus statue and looks very nice. I will find a use for the small Plinth but it is small, maybe a small decorative flower pot would work or a small statue up to about 24" I am guessing. I like the Grande Plinth is large enough to be seen and have a presence to it and works nicely in the garden.

Nice product. Excellent quality, very attractive. I wish I would have ordered the larger one.

Just what I needed for a garden statue.

Very solid yet light enough to carry. I was very impressed with the quality. I have a very heavy clay pot on each and they are holding up.

The material looked nice but one of the sides came broken. It was a real bummer as the material looked really stylish

Looks as good as all our concrete risers, statues, etc. but much lighter weight so easier to handle. It's exactly what we needed, a little pricier than we hoped, but will serve the purpose well. We could have ordered directly from Toscano but would have had more delivery issues - thanks Amazon for simplifying that part of the process !!
