Why does the description in the ad say it is 6.4 ounces, when the package that is being shown say it is 3.5? Which is it?

Thanks for asking! The XL Silly Putty includes 3.5 oz of putty. The 6.4 oz you are seeing in the product description is referring to its entire weight of the package. Hope this helps!

no. it is literally putty colored (pinkish beige)

Is the egg shaped container recyclable? It does not have a recycling symbol on it so I was wondering what type of plastic it is?

Great question! The Crayola Silly Putty Egg is made with #5 polypropylene (PP). Since collecting procedures can vary between municipalities, be sure to check with yours to recycle. 💚

Will silly putty take on a comic book page impression like the putty of old?

Glad you asked! Like another consumer has stated, the Silly Putty formula has stayed the same but the newspaper ink has changed, resulting in no longer being able to transfer images. We hope you'll still have some stretchy fun with your Putty!
