I am using these to make tassels for zipper bags so they are working great after they are brushed out with a wire dog fur brush and are much cheaper than dmc brand floss. BUT they are a bit stiffer initially and might not be quite as good for true cross stitch and embroidery. I haven't tried it for that yet. Can't beat the price when you need a lot of floss. Likely would work great for friendship bracelets too

I have other Le Peon thread, but I really wanted to do a coffee-themed embroidery so I ordered this set. The thread is 100% cotton and doesn't bleed or discolor when washed, but it does have a slightly less smooth finish than normal DMC thread (DMC treats their cotton thread in a solution that gives it a smooth, slightly shiny finish, so if you hold them side by side, it is a little noticeably different) which I really like, it adds a softer, fluffiness to my stitches.

For the price it’s a good product, but there are little downfalls to the cheap embroidery floss. For instance, it knots up easily and that drives me nuts.

They have the exact colors they said abd what I needed, but as others have stated the thread is a bit rough and not the right kind. But it worked for the project I needed and during this pandemic I'm having a hard time getting to craft stores where I don't drive.

This embroidery thread 🧵 is similar in quality to the individual skeins of floss that you find at JoAnn’s. It has a similar satin-like look and feel. I was expecting it to be stiffer and rougher in texture & appearance, like the cheaper multi-packs of floss that you can purchase, but it was not.I also like that I can purchase complimentary color families of floss for my projects (instead of a big pack of many colors.)I purchased this floss to create bendy dolls (& accessories) and it was perfect for creating various skin toned dolls.Highly recommended for various projects.

Ordered 1 pack initially to test the thread and was pleased with quality. I came back to order 4 more packs of various colors for my daughter. Lovely colors and seems to work well for her in making bracelets.

Nice. Due to quarantine I pulled out a cross stitch project that I quit nearly 20 years ago that I started as a teenager. Somehow back then I had used the wrong colors ( various shades of similar blues) and so I am having to substitute different colors where I messed up. I was running too low on navy blue so rather than have my husband try to pick out a few colors for me on his Walmart trip I ordered this pack. Perfect colors and plenty for me to finish with.

Like other people have noted, it's a very rough fiber and gets knotted easily, very frustrating to use. But the value for a pack of colors tempted me anyway. Won't buy again if I can help it, glad I could avoid my local JA's were half the DMC is out of stock.

These are most definitely not DMC. Some of the colours/numbers match closely, some are not even in the same shade. The only reason I’m not returning these is because I live a 2 hour flight from the nearest store I can buy threads at. The photo shows a DMC thread on the bobbin and the same supposed thread from the pack

Not happy that these aren't true dmc. Inferior quality.
