These cards are also useful for magic tricks, and... messing with people's minds... mwahahahaha...
I got my deck, blue back, minor printing errors on a couple of the cards, but $10 low price, so I don't care because I got these as props to mess with people and for magic tricks. for those of you who like performing magic tricks, here's an idea: hide an individual mega card behind a poster/painting on the wall, or under the couch, or under dining room tablecloth, or wherever you can think that won't damage the card. then have audience member pick a card FROM A NORMAL SIZE REGULAR DECK, and force the matching card on them. "lose" the card back in the deck, "fail" to find it, and then suddenly "remember" that you caused the card to move somewhere else, and direct the audience to the location of the mega card. if you hide several mega cards in various locations, you can do various lost and found or whatever routines, as long as you remember where each card is. I suppose a teacher could do a variation of this with mega cards and some sort of math problem or simple logic problem, but I never thought about using giant cards in a classroom before reading what others wrote in reviews. I can honestly say I only got the cards to mess with people's minds... mwahahahaha... "I as born in Texas, and these are what we use for poker cards in Texas. Haven't you heard, everything is bigger in Texas?" ... "one day, I was looking at my cards thru a magifying class during a full moon, and wouldn't you know it, when I pulled the magnifying glass away, the cards remained giant size." ... "I got these in a hospital gift shop. they are meant for the almost legally blind." ... "These are what you use for cheating at a card throwing tournament." ... (pull these out and ask with a straight face) "anyone want to play poker?"

Lots of fun!
I've been doing the eye exercises in Dr. Rosanes-Berrett's book, "Do You Really Need Eyeglasses?" which I've previously reviewed. One of the exercises that she recommends is simply playing Solitaire with playing cards. It makes your eyes move and it's relaxing. Yes, it works. I've played Solitaire all day long, during lunch and then for a couple hours at night, gotten up the next day and my eye muscles are actually sore. My eyesight slowly continues to improve. So, I thought, along the lines of, 'if a little is better, then too much is great' that if Solitaire played with regular cards is great, then Solitaire played with gee-normous cards would be super-fantastic.Lo and behold, it is! Not only do your eyes have to roam over a six foot area when you're playing Solitaire with these monsters, but it's a whole-body workout! If you are a sedentary person who does not care for exercise, then get a set of these, spread them out on the floor or on a six-foot table, put on your headphones and play away. Ditto if you are just trying to improve your eyesight or if your eyes are just tired after staring at a computer all day.

Good quality and perfect for a party!
I threw an Alice in Wonderland themed party and these were perfect for the entryway! I was worried they’d be flimsy but they were surprisingly sturdy and held up great.

Game night fun
These giant cards are great for parties, and for people who have trouble seeing lol! But they are also easy to clean if you have messy kids. Great buy.

Surprisingly fun giant playing cards
Surprisingly fun giant playing cards. I bought these initially for a work function but ended up breaking them out for a gaming night with friends for some unexpectedly hilarious games. Something about playing with comically oversized cards just makes normally amusing games outright amazing. Now, points deducted since the cards themselves are flimsier than I would prefer, but to increase the weight of the paper would really increase the price of the cards, and it's not like we're using these for professional level poker games or anything. For what they are, they are an excellent purchase.

Add some fun and coolness to your teaching or party
These are wicked awesome!! What a fun way to do group card games. I bought them to use for a class of 16 year olds who, in weeks past, couldn't tell me what I wore because their phones were so captivating. We used them to create a game show type atmosphere and I got everyone excited and participating! They are fun and cool and no one has things like that.Quality is very good except the packaging box quickly tore. So I reinforced the edges with packing tape. Problem solved. The cards themselves are high quality and show no wear at all yet.

These cards are GREAT!! I bought them to play Spoons with a large crowd (Spoons game directions: http://www.wikihow.com/Play-Spoons-(Card-Game)). And instead of using spoons, we used pool noodles. The fact that these cards are VERY large makes the game play even more challenging; and entertaining to see when someone grabs a spoon (noodle). These cards are high quality. Also, when we play Spoons, instead of a player being out when he/she doesn't get a spoon, he/she loses a beaded necklace. It's more fun when everyone says in the game. I also used two full decks of cards for a crowd of 8.
