Taste the Tradition! 🍽️
Volpi Boneless Prosciutto is a premium, hand-rubbed, and air-dried delicacy weighing approximately 5 lbs. Crafted in the USA using traditional methods from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, it offers a melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich flavor, making it a versatile addition to any gourmet meal or gathering.

Great American-made Prosciutto!
Very nice prosciutto! I thought it was great value for the money. 5lbs is quite a lot, so I shared it with family and friends:) No one complained.

Great prosciutto but careless packaging/shipping.
Tasty prosciutto, moist, not overly salty. Bought from Go Italy, was shipped through USPS, packed in a box with a little styrofoam nuts with very small squares of ice pack. I asked to be notified by the shipper, couldn't see the progress of shipping in the website. The prosciutto was delivered on Friday and I was notified 5 days later by text that it was left outside my front door. Fortunately I saw the package on Sunday. Product still good after two days outside in the heat. I wish GoItaly put more insulation and ice in the packaging and use UPS/Fedex for better tracking. Enjoying the prosciutto tonight with wine... yummm

Will not buy again.
I threw whole shipment away. It did not look cured and little bit I tasted was just awful. Will not be buying this product again. Threw my hard earned 80 dollars in the trash.

Better than famous traditional Chinese ham
well cured, perfect dryness, and ruby colored. No added nitrate. Taste even better than famous traditional Chinese ham, Jinhua ham (Jinhua Huotui).

You have done better with this product.
Only part was good product, the other part was extremely dark color and dry with poor flavor.I have bought several and this was the worst.

not really an Italian prosciutto
First, let me say I lived in Italy for 3 years so I had some experience w/salumeria. Just got my Volpi and opened it last night. It falls well short of Parma quality. First it isn't anywhere near salty enough. Remember, prosciutto is cured by sitting in salt for up to a year. Then it should also be drier. Good prosciutto cuts thin and clean and slightly "stringy", this product mushes under the knife. Finally it doesn't really have any distinct taste of pork or salt! Too bad. Visit your local deli and get a true Italian ham.1 month later...I'll up it to 3 stars. A few more tastings, further into the ham, and sliced on an electric slicer all made a difference. My initial disappointment was overdone!

Great gift
I have bought this as a gift for a few people...everyone loves it, remarking that it is a tasty lean cut. Great flavor and high quality.

Great prosciutto from the USA
The Volpi prosciutto arrived quickly, and was fresh when recieved. It has that great Italian salty prosciutto taste, and is firm yet soft (indicating the freshness). It is fairly easy to slice with a knife, but I highly recommend a slicer instead. We cooked it with peas, used it in place of bacon, and made a variety of dishes with it. The taste in all these dishes was excellent.
