My cat absolutely loves this toy. I bought this some time last year and over the months this has been one of her favourite toys. We keep all her toys in a toy box and she fetches out what she wants and she gets out this one all the time even over the strong catnip toys. Especially at night! She loves to fling it around, it makes a lot of noise, she carries it around in her mouth a lot like prey or a baby. She’s even taken it outside in the garden with her and it’s been left out and got soaked in the rain. Then I’ve washed it in the washing machine and amazingly the tweeting still works as good as ever. I’ve even recommended it to friends who’ve bought one. I’m even thinking of buying another as it’s looking fairly battered now after nearly a year of use. No tail left, holes in its cheeks! Poor thing.

Edit: My cat is on her third mouse (they are like socks in the tumble dryer and just disappear). She loves them the minute they are out of the packet. I don't know what it is she loves so much compared to other mouse toys. She carries it in her mouth, sleeps with it next to her, plays fetch with it. My kitten just loves this. Me not so at 4am in the morning when it's being tossed round my bedroom and chirping away. It's thick and durable. I thought it was a bit expensive when I was first browsing. You can buy a bag of cheaply made toys for the same price but it's definitely worth the money. She hasn't stopped playing with it for a month. I've just ordered her the bird version. You can hear the sound on the video attached. Update: She now has the mouse, bird and parrot. The parrot she isn't fussed on. I think because it's bigger she can't carry it around so easily or chuck it in the air. It's sturdy though and survived being dropped in a full water bowl. The bird, she pulled the feathers off within a day but other than that, it's a good toy and well played with. The mouse is still firmly the favourite.

This bird seems pretty realistic and makes 2-3 different bird sounds. My cat loves birds and lost his old toy so I bought this for him. Went absolutely crazy as soon as I opened it for him. What I will say is that my cat began thinking the bird toy was a bit too real and started growling at me with the toy in his mouth so I would be a bit mindful of that. The tail feathers of the bird can be easily bitten off because I found some pieces laying on the floor so I cut the rest of the tail feathers off just in case my cat might ingest it. And I supervise my cat whilst he plays with it as in his case he thinks its a real bird and starts acting a little crazy. But overall good realistic toy with nice bird sounds.

One of my cats adores these, he has a little collection of them and he brings them all over the house. However, I’ve bought quite a few of them now and I’d estimate that about 40% of the time the chirp inside is broken and either doesn’t work at all or works for about a minute and then never again. In reality I don’t mind this so much as the cat likes them anyway and the chirping is annoying, so there are some benefits to a silent bird, but I felt it worth mentioning for the benefit of other potential buyers.

I bought this toy mouse for my new kitten. She had been playing with the one I bought 16 years ago for my old cat but decided to drown that one in her water bowl! I received a mouse which was faulty and made no noise. I requested a return, sent it off and received a refund within a couple of days. I really wanted a replacement for the drowned mouse so I ordered again. The second mouse arrived today and works perfectly. My kitten has worn herself out playing 'fetch' with us and is now fast asleep on my lap. I am really pleased with the new mouse and the great customer service I have received from the seller. EDIT. Our kitten has just dropped the old mouse in her water bowl again! It is saturated. Reading the reviews, this seems to be common! 😹

I was hoping for it to make some kind of noise as per product description but sadly product arrived faulty. I was ready to hit “return” when my partner said to wait, he can fix it he said. He opened the toy up to take the battery out, did something, and it worked - it made a noise. My cats woke up from a good nap interested in what they heard. I sewed the toy up whilst my cats were waiting expectantly as if i’m performing a life threatening surgery on their favourite toy just to then be disappointed when I put it on the floor and it no longer chirped. All this experience lasted 10 minutes from its arrival at my front door. I can no longer return it & wasted my money and let my cats down. Thanks

We just got this today and let me tell you, I NEVER write reviews, but this might have to change. My cat (a house cat no less) has been with us for two months now and we're really trying to enhance her environment with stimulating and fun toys. The lengths we have gone to find said toy! Cat tree? She couldn't be more uninterested. Sticks with feathers? Not interested. Catnip? No, thank yew. Even the untouchable laser pointer couldn't really entice her, unless there were treats involved. She has been playing with this little birdie for the past 20 minutes and she hasn't even felt compelled to climb the Christmas tree. Though the noise might be a bit much for our fragile human ears, she seems to be really revelling in it, so it's truly a small price to pay. Highly recommend!

My cat is 11 yrs young and an indoor cat...He loves this...I sprayed some catnip on it and he really went to town...Good excercise for him also...

Très bon achat, pour remplacer un jouet similaire cassé. Cet oiseau est de très bonne qualité, les coutures sont robustes, pas comme certains jouet pour chats qui ne tiennent pas la route. Le son et aussi très bien, pas trop fort et fait son effet avec 3 sons différents. J'ai aussi acheté la version Hérisson, mais pas encore utilisé. Le chat adore ! Un peu cher mais vaut vraiment le coup si vous avez un chat qui s'amuse habituellement avec ce genre de chose.

As minhas gatinhas adoraram. Os sons que emitem são muito atrativos para gatos curiosos, sobretudo o pássaro. O ratinho tem um som menos potente. Recomendo. Até a caixa onde vêm acondicionados é engraçada!
