Ice balls are great!
Ice balls are great because they take longer to melt. I bought a different ice ball maker that didn't work because as the water froze the mold came apart and I had to use rubber bands to hold it together and still had problems. So I purchased these ice ball makers and I am very happy with my purchase. These silicone molds work great compared to the 4 balls in one mold I was unhappy with. I did still have problems in the beginning but soon learned how to fill and empty these silicone molds. What was my problem and how did I fix it?My first attempts at using these silicone ice makers I had half balls. I thought the mold was full of water but after a day the mold was only half full. So I fill the mold now slowly and when the water comes to the top I I push on the side a little to pop out the air bubbles, i guess you could say I burp them. But the good news is they are full and round every time.Another problem I have is that the top comes off pretty easy but the bottom is hard for me to get off, but I think it's because of me and not the product. A 24 year old who comes to help me once a week was able to pop off top and bottom with no problem. So with a very short learning curve these are GREAT!!!

Great balls.
I use these bigger ice spheres for my whiskey or sipping cocktail. The system is great with the hard plastic on bottom and silicone on top. The all silicone ones are a little too squishy and leaky. Once you find the right level for the sphere so that it doesn’t come out the while during freezing, you’re golden.

Good buy
Bought for my husband who is a big bourbon fan. He loves these. They are easy to fill and easy to remove the ice ball once frozen. You have to be careful they don't tip over in the freezer and spill, but now we wedge them against heavier items and haven't had any issues.

Worth It
Made the best ice balls. Used a measuring cup with a spout to fill through the hole at the top. Some overfilled (hard to tell because of dark color) and left a little protrusion when unmolded. I make 4, put in ziploc bag. Make more and keep add to the bag to keep stock on hand. Great for bourbon or whiskey. They would actually work well on most drinks as they melt slower so drink does not get watered down by melting ice. Am going to try putting a few strawberries and grapes in a couple to use for a punch bowl.

Just OK
These work ok. Its best if you boil the water first and pour into it. Tiny spout so spillage happens a lot as your pour. Very difficult to remove ice mold. Often times the ice spheres crack in multiple places as soon as you pour scotch/whiskey over them. For the price and as a starter it's ok.

Make sure they are good and frozen
The media could not be loaded. Love these!!! Easy to do and make great conversation pieces and they make ant martini a show stopper!! Easy to get out of the mold and I have created at least 2 dozen and stored them in the freezer! Lemonade is a great base or margarita mix with no sugar. Love using all es of line and lemon with blueberries, raspberries, pineapple and strawberries! Lots of fun to make!!!

Good product
I really like these. Easy to use and gets the job done. I'd still use a funnel if you have it to get the water in. It works without it but sometimes there are air bubbles and the water spills abit.

Pretty good chiller
Once I figured out the best way to use them, they work pretty good for my purposes. They do tend to leak a little bit but it's not that big of deal. I drink 1 FULL rocks glass of whiskey every night before I go to bed. The trick is is to pour the whiskey over the ice ball and let it sit for about 15 minutes before you start drinking the whiskey. The whiskey will be chilled but not diluted.
