I bought these for a young adult who will likely move many times before getting “settled” so I wanted to avoid stemware. Let’s be clear - these are not fine crystal. They are sturdy glassware in an attractive design that is very versatile for martinis, cosmopolitans, manhattans, gimlets, etc. Cocktails are all the rage with young adults these days so I thought they’d appreciate a proper glass in which to serve. My husband and I agreed that the base is large enough for a male hand to hold comfortably. They could also be used for juice at a brunch, ice cream or mousse desserts, nuts or mints, etc. The set of six is perfect and an excellent value. Four seemed too few and eight too many for a young person’s apartment storage capacity. They are packaged in a sturdy corrugated cardboard box with an interior cardboard divider. It’s not a lighter weight gift box, but it does have a picture of the glass, identifies Bormioli Rocco as the manufacturer, and says “Made in a italy.” No bubble wrap but shipped inside an Amazon carton, they arrived with no breakage. My only comment is that the box would be perfect if it had a tuck-in flap style top that you could open and close for easy access if storing the glasses in the box.

I use these for my main cocktail glasses. Super fun, the perfect size, not clunky, fit great in my hand, stack by two in my cabinet. Dishwasher safe.

We love these glasses. Been using them as basic bar glasses for 4 or 5 years. However. Shipping is terrible. First order came in tact. Second order, 5 out of 6 broken. Third order, 5 out of 6 in tact. Glasses great if you can actually get them in one piece

Elegant glasses for delicious cocktails. Cocktails (pre or during) always taste better in beautiful glassware, and these fit the bill. The stem is solid and sturdy, not flimsy at all. Hate to tell you how many beautiful glasses we've broken because of delicate but flimsy stems. They are also dishwasher safe which is an added plus!

Making martini's and wanted something that was sturdy. I love a traditional martini glass, but a long, thin stem was and invitation for a lot of breakage. These worked great. Looked good. And no breakage!

Glasses just as shown. These are sturdy with a not too thick, not too thin rim and heavy base. Easily holds a 3 oz martini at 2/3 full. Great price. Dishwasher safe. Looked at many martini glasses online; these were perfect size, shape to be modern and traditional yet very functional. Could be used for dessert cups but why when so perfect for cocktails.

These are just what I wanted , they look soooo nice. The base is heavy - prevents spills! Customer service was great. One package arrived and when I picked it up it was apparent that they were all broken. I notified them and they said to,throw away and quickly sent replacement.
