Buy this, put it on & you will love it!
I'm a little surprised that this item has as many low 1, 2 & 3 star reviews as it does, but I think the product is fantastic so I guess I'm biased. Installation was easy, not a single problem encountered, though I will say, WATCH THE INSTALLATION VIDEO. If you've never installed this type of wet install screen guard. I have done this on iPhones, many times, but I still watched it. The main things to remember: 1) make sure your hands are clean. 2) the area you use to install it in, make sure it's not dusty. 3) have paper towels (viva works well it bounty, less linty bits coming off) along with the microfiber towel when you start. 4) when you start, start by spraying the back of the shield w/ the included solution. If you want, since there are two shields to a sheet, cut it in half & put the other shield away. Then spray the non adhesive back, then your fingers. 5) carefully peel off the shield from its backing, if you sprayed too much solution, use your towel to get off the excess by letting it drip to the edges. Don't try to wipe it off! 6) let the shield adhesive side down on the screen of a powered down device, moving it around until it's where it needs to be. (Don't panic, it will slide around a lot, if solution comes to the edges, use your towel to absorb it.) 7) when you have it where you want, use the squeegee to work out air bubbles, keep your towel nearby for excess liquid. And be aware the shield WILL MOVE ABOUT when you do this, just shift it back in place. Try holding it in place while you squeegee. 8) once you're satisfied that the air bubbles are dealt with & the shield in place, you can leave it to dry a bit, 15 or so minutes until the edges get sticky & you can press them down. OR, you can employ a hair dryer & speed up the process. It takes a bit, hold the heat to the shield a little & as you do this, try to get the corners to adhere to the edges. They will continue to lift at first, eventually staying in place after you smooth them down. It's a laborious process for a beginner. But it works. 9) plug in your device or just leave it overnight to dry or "cure" (I turned my watch on, it was fine & then put it on the charger to cure) by the next morning the shield was dry & it looked perfect, no air bubbles or streaks. I barely put in any special effort, installed this while watching tv, while reclining on my chaise, in low light & it turned out flawlessly. But I've put stuff like this on before... It's been about 3-4 days and the shield is still looking good, I'll post pictures & the edges are all still wrapped to the screen nice and tight. If you want something that covers your watch screen rather than a small glass square that looks obvious, I urge you, TRY THIS PRODUCT OUT. It's easier to install than you think. Love this! **posted pictures...as you can see from the front view, the protector is invisible & crystal clear, the side view, the edges are covered, nice & tight, no lift at any edge. The feel is nice as well, smooth & your fingertips glide right over top like the actual glass of the watch. Great product!!!!

Great quality, great customer service, and lifetime warranty!!
I received my screen shield on time, and ironically, I just got my Applewatch. The first installation went well, but a small piece of dust caused a minor imperfection which I ended up taking off and using the second shield provided. I have a need for perfection, especially when it comes to your beautiful Applewatch that you spent a lot of money on! I installed it that same day, and it turned out great! The only problem was after a day or 2, the 2 top corners started pealing off. I tried using the liquid to reapply, but it wouldn't work. I went a few days dealing with it until it started to collect dust, and I was about to buy a new set. I forgot though that they have a lifetime warranty, so instead of buying a new set, I contacted ArmorSuit for a new set! They were very understanding, and sent me out a new set promptly. I took the risk of taking off the old shield until my new set arrived, but I found that without a screen protector, I was constantly having to clear my screen of fingerprints! The military shield not only covers the whole screen of the Apple watch, but in my opinion, it also prevents finger prints. Sure sometimes they end up on the screen, but I wasn't needing to "clean it" as often. The screen is super smooth, and this time it adhered to all corners!! It does help letting it dry overnight as you won't bump it when it's still drying. My only advice is to install it in a clean environment!! I saw a tiny little hair from my dogs that ended up on the new shield somehow, but it was so minor I didn't want to rip it off and use the last shield. I did notice though that if you accidentally push your nail onto the screen, or bump it on an edge, sadly the shield takes the hit, and causes it to have a dent. All in all though, I can't complain because it really is made of a great quality material, it looks great (it's very smooth and you can barely tell you have a protector on it!), it covers the whole screen (unlike tempered glass, and other competitors), and they have a lifetime warranty! So if your looking for a great screen protector, I would recommend ArmorSuit!! The price is great, and if you use the 2 and need new ones due to mistakes or just wear and tear, their customer service is great! They communicate with you fast, and all you need to do is take a picture of the old shield showing the problem, or sending them in an envelope after you relieve the new ones! I am very happy with this brand, and I think everyone will too. Even if you make mistakes, remember they have a lifetime warranty!! And sure, it takes 5-7 business days to get to you, but it's worth it! You pay such a fantastic price to get the shields to begin with, and with them sending you new ones if need be, you can't beat it!! Thank you ArmorSuit!!

Waste of money
It is easy to see the reviews that sellers plant. This is not one. I bought this item shortly after buying my Apple Watch. I thought it would be a simple way to protect its screen. Recently I thought about it and realized the idea of screen protectors is a huge scam. I have owned many watches in my life and none needed to be protected. Really, think about it. Since they were invented, how many watches have been manufactured? How many have shattered? The percentage must be minute. Apple has a protection plan for those unlucky few who crack the glass on their watches. It is $49 for 3 years of protection. Apple will not say how long one can expect its watches to last, because the company doesn't know! So why spend the money on a screen protector that may outlive the watch? I paid $7 for mine and received two in the package. The price you expect to pay to "protect" your Apple is a small sum. The price is actually in the time and aggravation spent applying the item! It is much more than the $7 cost and much less than the $49 Apple protection plan! Until I began applying the product, I could not understand how it could be the headache about which I read in the reviews. To begin, directions are not included in the box. The side of the box has a few sentences about application. On a piece of paper included with the product is a web address one can visit to view an edited video which clearly skips most of the time required to apply the product. Obviously the manufacturer doesn't want potential customers seeing the hell involved with its product. Buyers are sent a bottle of liquid to apply to product before applying to watch. Do NOT apply as much as is directed unless you want your fingers sliding when application time arrives. If the item is wet you are in for a long wait, so have plenty of food and water available. You could use the wait time to write that novel that has been rattling around in your head for decades... There is one reviewer who gave great instructions but I cannot in good conscience list his name because that might be construed as me suggesting one waste money, patience and time on this product. After doing your taxes, writing your novel or solving the problems in the Middle East, the solution MAY become tacky. If so, wait a wee bit longer and then use a hair dryer to get the film attached to your watch. Hopefully you didn't previously use the squeegee because if you did, it was in vain. By the way, though I watched the video for the Apple Watch, I did not watch anyone use a squeegee like the one I was sent. The corners will be difficult, so do not get the idea you are the only person who has been unable to apply this item. I believe that if many people find something difficult it is because something IS difficult! Just when you think you have the corners affixed you will notice you don't. At some point, things will look good and you will set the watch aside for twelve hours, or whatever "overnight" means. Beware of companies giving ambiguous directions for their products. It seems to mean said companies are creating a loophple allowing them to claim directions were not followed by the buyer. With my watch, I waited about 26 hours before touching it so I could be certain everything was dry before putting a band on the watch and wearing it. I DO recommend removing the watch band if you read the truthful reviews and are still foolhardy enough to think the application is easy AF. One needs as much space of the watch perimeter as possible to apply this thing, so remove the watch band!! After 26 hours of not wearing my new watch I picked it up to see two corners of this film had peeled up. I then applied more of the supplied liquid, which is likely water, and heat from my hair dryer to redo the application. I did the corners only this time, as they were the only parts not adhering to the watch face. I then waited another stretch (12 hours) before picking up my watch, attaching a band and wearing. I thought I was awesome because I was one of the few who went to battle and survived! The reviewers who commented negatively just didn't want it badly enough, but I gave it my all and the Apple Watch was now as protected as an American president or the Pope himself. Nothing would harm my watch because the screen was protected and the film couldn't be seen. Until the next day when I saw two corners with raised curves of film. They seemed very hard and solid so, though it annoyed me, I thought they wouldn't move. It had been about a week when I saw the film was lifted. I was not one of the chosen after all. The product is simply not going to remain in place. I now believe all the smug comments about this shield being easy to apply, or fantastic once one makes it through and sees daylight were made shortly after application when things seemed rosy. Amazon should not allow reviews to be written until at least a month after purchase so that customers would be able to read about how the item has performed, not about how it looks or how buyers think it will perform. My guess is that after the newness wears off, a buyer won't be as inclined to write a review as he would be shortly after receiving it. Because there were so many negative reviews about this product I decided to give it time before I commented. I am thrilled I did. I actually hope I can go change my rating to one star. No clue why I started with two. Just don't buy this product. Your watch doesn't need a bodyguard.

Solid protector: a bit tricky to install, but worth it
Very good product. Fits well. Protects the screen without getting in the way too much. I'd much rather get a scratch on a replaceable piece of plastic than on the glass of my Apple Watch. As other reviewers have noted, it can be a little tricky to affix the protector on the Apple Watch screen, but the enclosed instructions and the online video are definitely helpful (as are the comments other reviewers have made). After putting the protector on the flat part of the screen, definitely give it some time to dry before attempting to stick the edges to the curved part of the watch's glass. Then, when you do start to push the edges down, don't be surprised if they start to peel right back up initially -- keep pushing down around the edge of the screen and eventually they will all stick. I was initially skeptical when other reviewers claimed that air bubbles worked their way out by themselves, but was genuine amazed to find that it's really true! I had a few small bubbles under the protector where it curved with the watch's screen, and after about 36 hours they were gone! I have found that while the protector does wrap nicely around where the Apple Watch's screen curves, and you cannot actually *see* where the protector ends (which is a plus), you can *feel* the edges of the protector. Still, once I got used to it, this didn't bother me too much. It's also worth noting that the texture of the screen is different once the protector is applied: whereas it was a smooth glass surface without the protector, it becomes a bit more plasticy and a little less smooth (it takes just a tiny but more effort to slide your finger across the surface of the screen) with the protector on. For these two reasons, I lowered my rating from 5 stars to 4. However, I certainly would not let these very minor complains dissuade me or other potential buyers from the product.

Takes time to put, but it's worth it!
If you can get this one correctly, it's pretty darn stellar. The reason I mention this is because it is the most labor intensive screen protector you'll probably ever apply. Takes about an active 10-30 minutes to get this on correctly. Another reviewer posted a video of their installation, and ArmorSuit has their own video, both are very similar and can be applied to the technique of application. My variation involved constant massaging of the edges. As you know the Apple watch has rounded edges, so the protector will not initially lie flat on the edges upon initial applications like most people are used to. After about 5-10 minutes, depending on how much you're able to squeegee out (the more the better) the edges start to dry and get a little stickier. At this point start messaging them down making sure you have a good edge on each side. The constant massage imo is like a squeegee and gets more liquid out to make it stick quicker. In the beginning it won't stick, just keep doing it to make sure the edges line up, but after a couple more minutes you'll notice the edges start to stay. Constantly keep massaging opposite edges to make sure it lines up right. Readjust the protector as needed, there should be enough liquid to allow it to move with a small amount of force applied. Keep going until all the edges lay flat. Keep watch of it though for about 30 minutes after as some edges may peel off again. Do not worry, just press them down again. I've applied two protectors in this fashion, took much longer than I was accustomed to (of just spray, squeegee and leave to dry), but the results are pretty stunning. Usually these types of protectors are the types that are noticeable, but this one, once applied correctly is literally invisible. I've used them for two days, no peeling so far, and feels glass like still (probably because one does not do large touch gestures on devices this small). It really is hard to tell its on besides from the texture you see when it reflects at certain angles.

What a pain
Ok. Installing this on the 38mm Apple Watch is so hard and frustrating. This thing comes in a giant box which made me laugh. You get two for the watch so that's good, you'll likely need both. One is for practice and one to take seriously. You only take it seriously after you realize how hard it is to install and you deem the first one as practice to make yourself feel better about messing it up so bad. That was me anyway. In the video that they recommend you watch for the install goes fast but makes no difference on the difficulty. "Squeegee the excess fluid and air bubbles from under the shield". Ok, how? The screen protector slides like butter in a hot pan, the squeegee is bigger than the watch and my fingers have to hold it in place so I can barely move the squeegee because my finger is in the way. Then you barely move your finger to try and get that last bubble and the shield goes sideways. Totally frustrating. I finally got mine to acceptable standards(it looked "ehh") on the flat part of the screen and I let it cure like I was instructed by the video. Go to put the corners down later and they didn't really stick down. This could be my fault for having to try to put this thing on a million times and touching it so much but whatever, I have a case. Overall, probably not armor suits fault for the difficulty. The watch is just too small. The shield feels like a Zagg.....thick, rubbery and high quality. I like it and I'm sure it'll do its job. Since I have a case it looks like I did a really good job installing it but I didn't. My case simply holds down the edges. Either way I'd buy it again. It's $7 and a good screen protector. I'm just not looking forward to the install.

Best Screen Protector Ever ! BUY!
ArmorSuit screen protector is the best when it comes to providing protection for my devices. I was especially eager to provide protection for my brand new Apple Watch. While searching online for screen protectors, I noticed that many companies only created a screen protector that covers the flat area of the screen. That makes me worry because the Apple Watch has curved edges that are part of the screen that can easily get damaged/scratched. ArmorSuit has always been good about providing total coverage when it comes to the display. I have found that the best way to install the ArmorSuit on to my device after spraying both sides, is to apply the screen protector on the device’s flat surface first, being sure that it was centered. I left the edges to kind of “hang” without trying to get them to stick on the device. I allowed the screen to sit on my device for about 10 minutes before using my finger to press down the edges to get them to stick on to the curved edges of the screen. By allowing the screen protector to sit flat on the watch and allowing the edges to dry a bit to get tacky, it really helped to get the edges to stick to the curved area of the screen. If the screen protector is too wet, it will not stick to the edges. My watch is totally protected and you can't really see the shield. ArmorSuit really is the best at what they do!

Cubersome and Tedious
Several yeares ago I applied an ArmorSuit Shield to an Apple iPad with great success. When I traded in my iPad for an updated model my original iPad looked good as new. The ArmorSuit screen protector performed exceedingly well. I wish I could say the same for the ArmorSuit Military Shield for the Apple watch (38 mm). First, there were no application instructions in the box, just a 3x5 inch card directing me to the ArmorSuit web site to watch an installation video. I was able to cut an paste the installation instructions from the web site into MS Word and then printed them for reference during the installation of the ArmorSuit Military Shield for the Apple watch. The Armor Suit Shield bonded with the flat portion of the Apple Watch screen but with much less success on the rounded sides and corners. Four days later I have some noticeable bubbles where the screen rounds over. There is no adhesion on two of the corners. I purchased the ArmorSuit Shield because I wanted something to protect the sides and corners. I will use the present Shield until it no longer bonds to the screen and then I will try the second Shield. If I have the same results I may revert to the tempered glass shield that I used on my first Apple Watch. I found the application process cumbersome, complicated and tedious. Update 20 November 2016 Following my less than stellar review of the ArmorSuit Military Shield for Apple Watch 38mm, I received a reply from the company giving some suggestions for better results. The suggestions looked valuable but when I clicked on the link to read the entire reply I received a message error, link unavailable. I attempted to follow the link using both a PC and an iPad; unsuccessful either way. Since the ArmorSuit Military shield was peeling off one corner of my watch I thought I would retry the application with the second shield in the box. My results were even worse the second time. Three corners peeled off within the first 24 hours. I waited for 20 minutes after installing the shield to attach the sides and corners to the rounded screen of the Apple Watch. The shield would not stick. I covered the shield with a towel hoping the weight would hold down the corners and rounded sides. I placed the top of a shave gel can over the towel and watch, thus isolating the watch. I piled a half dozen wash cloths on top and let the entire assembly sit for 18 hours. When I removed the above it appeared that the shield had stuck (plus a few bubbles). Six hours later three corners had peeled off. I have read many excellent reviews of this product but that has not been my experience.
