great simple and sturdy for holding boom poles with a c-stand knuckle + with the rubber coating giving it move grip preventing the pole from sliding

Must have for booming mics
Makes booming a mic for long periods of time much easier. Just put this in a grip head and mount it on a stand and good to go.

Not strong enough
It broke under pressure of the boom pole not well put together.

Bad weld. Broke on first use.
Thought it was heavy duty. Felt really sturdy but the first shoot I used it on the weld broke right at the end of the post. Bad spot weld not fully welded.
