Productions Last Night on Earth: Growing Hunger Expansion

Last Night on Earth: Growing Hunger is an expansion for the Last Night on Earth game. I love it because it is so much fun! My friends and I get together once a month for game night and this is one we always pull out. This expansion add heroes, props, locations and scenarios to the main game. You do need the main Last Night on Earth board game for this add on to help you in any way. However I took it to the next level and I hand painted my hero figures. I will post the images.

I play this game with a group of friends or just one. It has so much variety that it really never gets old, you may get tired of zombies but that is ok, Flying Frog sells other themed games that work similar. This add-on is well done, it adds new heroes and scenarios you'll love, my favorite new heroes are the prom queen and the new cop. The best part of this add-on is the quick death matches that use one character. The Last Night on Earth games come with on line support and new scenarios that can be found online. Every Halloween we get together and play the Hollows Eve game that can be found online, just Google Last Night on Earth. ( Growing hunger is an add-on game for the main game )

I'll keep it pretty short. If you're considering the expansion, I would hope you already own Last Night on Earth. I think LNOE is a great game that offers suspense, teamwork, competition, and usually a lot of laughs. This expansion does not change much. What it does do is add some more locations (in the form of some new L-shaped boards), some new characters, new hero and zombie cards, and a few new scenarios. On top of that, it comes with new game pieces that are used with the free scenarios available on the games' official website or that can be used to design your own scenarios.In short, this expansion does not reinvent the wheel. What it will do, however, is help expand and reinvigorate an already great game. It's a little pricey, but if you like LNOE, it's a good investment.

If you're a fan of LNOE, you already know you want this expansion! DO IT! It adds so much new playability and is just down right fun! I would say it includes way more "custom scenario" and "house rules" playing pieces than I would ever need though. I would have rather they just given me a use for so many random pieces of cardboard. There is already so much to do and so many things to remember without making up new stuff. I highly recommend playing this expansion!

I love Last Night on Earth. Quite possibly my favorite board game of all time. This expansion makes it even better. It comes with 4 new heroes, new mechanics for the zombies and new scenarios for you to play. I must say with all this new stuff it stays true to the feel of the original. The new characters stay true to Last Night on Earth's theme of using classic horror flick themed characters and with the new zombie mechanics the zombie player has a greater chance of winning. If you love Last Night on Earth I recommend this be the first expansion you get.

This expansion adds 4 characters to include a new Military type with 4 health, and three new scenarios introducing the GRAVE DEAD! Also two new corner board pieces with interesting building layouts (no longer relegated to the sides of the board)Balances out some questions in the earlier game while adding more awesome optional rules and tons more pieces for use in your own game scenarios!

I believe that this is the only expansion for last night on earth that doesn't modify the zombies in a weird way, to allow them to wield weapons, etc. That also makes it the best expansion in my book. However, it's still a game of one person playing zombies against a group of heros, which is a mechanic I've learned I very much don't like. I like to feel as though I'm playing a game and not running it for other people.

Growing Hunger adds a lot of awesome new weapons and cards as well as fun new heroes to play as. Growing Hunger also provides fun and challenging scenarios to play. I can't imagine owning Last Night on Earth without the expansions anymore. It's a bit pricey when you start tacking on the expansions but it only took 1 game to decide it was worth it.

I love this expansion to LNOE. It adds a lot of new content to the original game, which is reason enough to buy it! You get (from memory) 4 new characters which are all slightly more powerful than the original characters in my opinion. You get new scenarios and new board segments. In short, this expansion is well worth the price.

This great expansion adds more depth and fun to an already vast game. Be prepared for hours more fun, with new Heros and Zombies, along with a whole series of new cards for both sides.New weapons such as double handed weapons add a new twists to battles and new rules and game options to spice up the original.Please note that you MUST have the original game to play this.

This expansion has some great new features to expand the Original game. The new additions such as the extra zombies, game modes, characters and board pieces are well worth the money paid for them. This is a must have expansion for Last Night on Earth.
