SOG Throwing Knives with Sheath 3 Pack Balanced Throwing Knives Set w/ Paracord Knife Handles and Professional Throwing Knife Sheath (F041TN-CP)

I ordered these SOG throwing knives after much research and comparison with other brands in this range. I have plenty of utility knives with a nice sharp edge so I didn’t necessarily want that. For throwing all I was concerned about was a good sharp point and these excel at that as well as being able to use that as back up knives to cut. Many complain about the paracord wrap on the handles. Yes it comes loose easily, however all you need to do is fish the ends between a couple winds and melt the tip. Stays in place after more than a hundred throws. They aren’t going to secure the paracord wrap because some people take it off anyway. Great value for the price and they come with a good nylon sheath. I was sticking 2/3 every throw and I am a beginner.

The knives came packaged well, The sheath is of good quality. The knives are of good weight and the edge is sharpened and the tip is sharp. I would rather not have the paracord wrap on the handle as it tends to come undone but its easy to take off. The knives are easy to throw and gives self satisfaction when it sticks. I had to play with the distance as to what the best distance is. The best distance was about 7 feet away for a beginner like me. After a couple of dozen throws I feel I'm getting the hang of it. I think I would not like to have the knife edge sharp because all I want these for is throwing. I made a target of four 2x6's by 5' high. After reading all the reviews on other knives I feel I got a good deal and of good quality. I'm excited to get better and eventually get more knives and in time a throwing hatchet or tomahawk.

These knives are amazing! I've been throwing for a little while now and I can say that there are great knives and even better for the price. Right out of the box I could tell that these were a work of art and I expect nothing less from SOG. The knives are ready to be thrown right away and are easy to sharpen if need be. For anyone looking for a good set of knives, these are ones for you. They have a bit of heft to them which is a good thing and I can tell that they will last a while. For beginners this is a great product to learn on because of the balance in the knife. All in all, I heavily recommend this product. Happy throwing Note: the wrapping on the handle is well done but may get cut with close grouping. The blades are still good to throw without it or you can buy more cord and wrap it yourself. Not a big concern by any means.

These are good throwing knives. They have some weight to them so they stick well. They're balanced and fly true when thrown correctly. My main complaint is that the paracord wraps on the handles are not secured in any way, so after a few throws they begin to come unwrapped. Seems pretty stupid, you would think they would have tested what they're selling. I re-wrapped them and then put some superglue on to connect the ends to the wrapped part. Or you could just remove the paracord, unless you're working with these knives it's not needed.

Excellent throwing knives, a little beat up on the blade for blades hitting the ground. I double rotate them from the 13 foot mark. Not sure why these throwing knives came with paracord, but I took it off of them as it unwinds after a few throws. Haven't broken on me yet and I have thrown them consistently for a month and a half. Highly recommend.

I have heard very bad things about this exact set of knives. I was very hesitant to purchase due to the bad things I have heard. Things like they don't hold an edge very well and the tip breaks. Well I am glad that I made this purchase. While I am not using these knives as a throwing knives I would expect the tips to hold up well. And the edge, it is great. I have been using one knife almost daily for whittling and other tasks for cutting and the edge is still holding up well. The knife is fairly balanced without the paracord wrap. When you add the wrap it throws the balance way off, but again that isn't a deal breaker for me as I am not using it for throwing. The skeleton handle, even without the paracord wrap is very comfortable in my hand.

Cut this for gift and it’s just what the person requested three for long enough to go round for what’s needed and there’s a great length on the blade handle. Could’ve been a little better but the field was there for the value into factor loan.

Arrived sooner than expected and everything is new and in new condition.

Buenísimos! El material es bastante bueno, y el peso está muy bien balanceado. Muchos knive throwers recomiendan cuchillos sin agujeros o espacios en la hoja, ya que son más propensos a romperse, pero estos son muy resistentes.

These knives are a great value, and versatile so I bought them because they don't have to be throwing knives, they make excellent camp knives because they have a sharpened grind.

Good knives for one spin throw while holding a handle. Here there is a video showing me doing this throwing in the garage on YouTube or on the Facebook. All these requires some practicing so be prepared for couple of months of practicing just to start with. Now I have these knifes for almost one year and I am abusing them a lot with the throwing and they still did not brake. I had to sharpen their tip with the sharpening stone and sometimes with the file, as well I wrapped their handle with the hockey tape for the better protection, but other then that these knives still usable for throwing very much. I successfully practice with them the spin throwing from 3 meters, 5 meters and 7 meters.

Muy afilados y muy bien balanceados, el material es de alta calidad y valen mucho la pena ya que no solo son cuchillos para lanzar, también cuentan con filo lateral para distintas actividades.

Excelente producto para el que fue creado. Cumplió con el propósito y sobre todo cumple con lo prometido y las expectativas del mercado
