Shaving Brush
The size was too small, so I returned it and ordered the large version. Fits my shave brush correctly, and I take it with me when I travel.

I love quality plastic
You know plastic can be so high quality. Unfortunately, there is lots of crappy plastic out there. It is in our cars, our appliance covers etc. I'm all for plastic that breaks down in the landfill, but how about not breaking down while I am trying to own these items. Kent makes a rigid brush stand that is not cheesy. I am a Kent fanboy. I have about five Kent shave brushes and they are just made better than most. Of course I also have some other brands that I just love. Still it is Kent for me. I even have a Kent tooth brush and tooth paste. Yep. This stand is no surprise. The same top quality of all that is Kent. Kent....they stopped hurrying and made things good. So good.

Good for most Kent x8 brushes
bought this with the intention of using it for a Kent AP8. Turns out that this item, though listed as its directly intended for the x8 line (and higher) of brushes confirmed by Kent themselves, doesn't quite fit the AP8, fits the BK8 perfectly with some room to spare, so that probably would be the larger BK12 brushes take that remaining space. appears that any loft >55mm would run the risk touch the bottom of the stand which would result in a slight bend at the very tip of the bristles that make contact with the base and would dry in that position, but this is only because the final rested position for the AP8 when in the stand is a few mm's past the knot as the opening is bigger than 26mm knot which the AP/BK/BLK 8's share, just that the loft is longer on the AP8 than the BLK/BK series which is the challenge. otherwise it looks nice w/ the BK8 in place when it dries.. brushes can be left standing as well, its matter of preference

VSB1.5 would work if it existed.
So, I have four brushes. An Edwin Jagger best badger, an Omega 10066 boar, a Simpson Trafalgar T2 synthetic, and a cheap Chinese synthetic. According to the Internet, the knot sizes range from 21mm to 24mm (EJ to Simpson), but my caliper reads more like 23mm to 28mm. I ordered a VSB1, and VSB2. I figured, I'd test them, and make sure they fit before ordering the rest. These are standard-ish brushes. Not overly big or small. Absolutely average. None of my brushes fit in either stand. They were all too big for the VSB1, and all too small for the VSB2. Maybe Kent's brushes will fit, but unless your brush is tiny or huge, they probably won't fit. I ended up sanding on the VSB1 for hours to get it to work for my Simpson. They're out of stock right now, but Fendrihan website has stands that are actually sized. I think it's like 23 to 30 mm. It's been such a headache trying to find stands to display my brushes when not in use. I didn't deduct stars because my brushes didn't fit. I deducted stars because Kent decided to make two stand sizes that don't seem to fit anything between a 22mm and 35mm knot. The stand is of good quality. Useless to probably 75% of shaving brush owners, but it's a nice stand. If you have a tiny brush, or a huge one, this is a good buy.

Cheap plastic piece of nothing
This is utter crap, a thin, unstable little piece of cheap plastic. It does *not* hold a Simpson Chubby 2 - in fact, the brush weighed the "stand" down so much (ha!) that it tipped over. Looks pathetic, too. If it were given to me for free, I'd toss it; to pay for it? HA HA HA

Good product, but check the size
It’s well built and does the job. But it’s too small for my Semogue brush. I’ve binned it and will purchase a larger one. But product is quite good, but make sure it’s the right size for you.

Great little shaving brush stand, and cheap too!
This is an excellent item and, importantly, a very reasonably priced one. All too often, items associated with more traditional shaving attract a heavy premium just because the manufacturers and retailers can charge one. This neat little stand is both functional and good value. It's important to hang a shaving brush after use in order to preserve the knot of the brush and to prevent mildew. This little stand is perfect for small brushes, or those with a goblet style handle. The basic, acrylic design allows it to stand on a bathroom counter, shelf or windowsill. There is also an adhesive pad on the back, which allows you to stick the stand on bathroom tiles, the corner of a mirror or cabinet. This is almost certainly the cheapest solution for those wanting a shaving brush stand and, if you have a small brush, it's a pretty good one!

Good but expensive for what it is.
Arrived quickly and product is as described. Its just delran plastic. Very expensive for what it is. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star review.
