This works, if you are suffering TRY IT!!!
First let me tell you a little bit about my history. 7 years ago I had a complete hemroidectomy and had relieve for 5 years. The last two years my hemroids came back in full force, but the thought of another operation is not something I can go through. It is an extremely painful operation that quite honestly don't know if I can go through again. I have currently been under a surgeon's care and getting laser treatment which is not painful, but uncomfortable and it really hasn't been very effective. I have to fast the day before and take time off work. I have also been using prescription strength cream and suppositories which really did nothing but stain my pants. I saw Hemmor-ice and was willing to give anything a try to relieve this pain. My toilet was filled with bright red blood every morning and have been resorted to painkillers when the pain caused me to want to stay in bed all day. After less than two weeks of using Hemmor-ice I feel like a new man. I am so greatful I can't put into words how much this has changed my life. I know it might seem trivial to some, but the pain I was in on a daily basis made me depressed and I was quite honestly trying to figure out how I was going to go through the surgery again. Please if you can relate to this try this product and hopefully you will expreience the same results I did. God bless this product. My only regrest is that after suffering for this length of time not one doctor could have recommenced this.

Excellent Product
There are several health risks associated with driving a taxicab in New York City. One is the danger of a bullet in the head. Another--hemorrhoids--from bouncing up and down all day on bumpy city streets. I was lucky. I got the latter. The doctor fast-forwarded me to the surgeon. "Quite severe," the surgeon said after my examination. "You're going to need an operation." The operation was scheduled for five weeks later. During this period, and by sheer accident, I saw in a magazine, "Shrink Hemorrhoids Naturally". It was an advertisement for Hemorr-ice. I knew nothing of the product, but little was there to lose. I ordered it. The directions said, "In general, the treatment period for Hemorr-ice is two insertions per day, morning and evening, for one to two weeks. An insertion should last approximately two to five minutes. It is not painful and there are no adverse effects." I found the treatments to be effective. My hemorrhoids were gone in a week and a half. Unbelievably, a twelve-dollar item had just saved me from an operation. I returned to the surgeon. He examined me. He was arrogant and annoyed. He had nothing good to say. It works!
After undergoing hemorrhoid surgery four years ago, I decided it wasn't an adventure I wanted to repeat anytime soon. So a recent serious flare-up sent me searching for alternative solutions. I read a review of Hemorr-ice and the idea of using cold to reduce swelling made perfect sense. In fact, it made me wonder why the same doctor, who told me to use ice on a sprained ankle, suggested that I sit in a tub of hot water several times a day to relieve hemorrhoids! The hot water didn't work, but using Hemorr-ice twice a day for five minutes immediately relieved the pain and itching and after a few days the hemorrhoids are gone. It is a little uncomfortable to use but that is nothing compared to recovering from the surgery. I definitely recommend this product.

nothing spectacular, decent cold treatment
Alright, I'm a 24yr old female and this was my first experience with an external thrombosed hemorrhoid about 1/2" diameter at it's worst. first of all the creams do not do much for an external thrombosed issue, yes they help with friction if that's an issue. From what I read heat and cold alternately help with the swelling, yeah I'm sure they do but it's very painful to apply heat and cold to that area. I came across this product. Seemed ideal and I ordered it. Arrived quickly, in minimal packaging. All in all- it's an ice pack for your anus/hemorrhoids. Shaped like a small anal plug, the shaft is only about three inches long, with a narrow diameter of about 3/4" inch. The larger part of the product is about 2" across. There is a liquid inside that freezes. Once you use the product, body heat warms it up fairly quickly so it must be re-chilled for about an hour before you can readminister. I only have two cons to this product- the price. Fairly steep for what you actually get. There is a seam, where the two pieces of plastic meet, around the outer edge of the largest part of the ice pack. Seems like shotty manufacturering but it's rough, doesn't take away from the performance of the product just makes it slightly difficult to clean very well.

A colossal waste of money!!!
Before buying this ineffective item, I was using water frozen in a latex glove, snapping a latex finger with ice in it off and then "rewrapping" it in another latex glove and tying off the glove at the back. I'd properly lubricate it and with the double latex layer it didn't affect my skin in a negative way. (I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice on how to handle your own medical issue. Please see your doctor for appropriate care.) Unfortunately this is a little messy but 1000% more effective than this item. The item barely feels cold even after 24 hours in the freezer. I will say it is easier to use but really just a waste of time. I have a moderate hemorrhoid issue so I am VERY skeptical of these other reviews stating the user was on the verge of surgery and this item prevented it. Buyer beware. First off, the item is most likely manufactured for less than $2 but this company charges over $30 for it. On top of that I was charged $13 for "shipping" which amount to less than a pound in a padded mailing envelope. I sell on "that popular auction site" and ship items with similar weight and size in a padded envelope and even coast to coast the shipping NEVER is over $6. In addition, the item simply doesn't work and you cannot return it because of the nature of the product and its use. How convenient for the company. I hope this review saves some other poor suffers from wasting almost $50 for an item that doesn't work.

Maybe not that good for external hemorrhoids.
I had an attack of external hemorrhoids including one thrombus. Not terribly painful but huge, walnut sized and difficult to reduce. They would pop out almost immediately just with walking around without straining or sitting. Had me worried. I have had prolapsed internal hemorrhoids before and usually could resolve them with digital reduction, some use of Preparation H or similar and I did not experience them popping out just from walking. So, this attack was different and more disturbing. Among other things, I bought Hemorr-ice. After several uses my conclusion is this product is designed more for internal hemorrhoids. The shaft provides a lot of cold therapy internally. The small head did nothing for my external hemorrhoid issue. In fact, the thrombosis seemed aggravated by the cold. Perhaps an alternative, Hemorr Wedge would work better for external hemmorhoids. Hemorrwedge Hemorrhoid Treatment Ice Pack - Gel Freeze Pack, Pair with Case I came up with a crazy but seemingly effective alternative to keep the hemorrhoids from popping out, allowing them to heal. Get ready....this has helped immensely. I rigged a pad made up of a wad of bathroom tissue coated with a soothing balm (your choice) on one side, pushed hard up against the affected area and held in place by a bungee cord outside my underwear with the ends looped around a belt. With the right length bungee (unextended 19" including the hooks, in my case) positioned over the tissue, enough pressure was exerted to keep the hemorrhoids reduced. So, I reduced them digitally before applying the pad and bungee device and was able to conduct normal daily activities without the hemorrhoids growing. I reapplied the balm every 4 hours or so to keep the pad lubricated and comfortable. Desperate men do desperate acts. If you try this and it helps, I will be extremely gratified.

When is rectal pain not a hemorrhoid?
I ordered this product early in 2011. I had been told I had interrior hemorrhoids and that the pain and bleeding I had was caused by the hemorrhoids. The product arrived quickly. It was exactly as described and was easy to use. It didn't help, however. I was in my early 50's, had never had a colonoscopy, DID have internal hemmorhoids. I also had rectal cancer. If you, at any age, have colorectal cancer symptoms. GET A COLONOSCOPY. If your doctor brushes you off. GET ANOTHER DOCTOR. Don't think it is "just hemorrhoids" unless you KNOW there is no other possible reason for the bleeding and pain. Colorectal cancer doesn't just strike people 50 and over. The rate of younger people (sometimes MUCH younger) getting colorectal cancer is increasing at a rate of 2% a year. This product is fine and I'm sure it fulfills its promises. It just won't help rectal cancer. Take care of yourself. And if you are diagnosed with cancer, go to very good doctors. I did, and I'm going to be okay. All the best.

Too brief of cold
The cold provided by this product is too brief to really have an important impact and put your veins (hemorrhoids) back in place. The device should have been combined with an attached external 'tank' so that it had more coolant mass. Your perineal area is extremely well perfused and thus heat exchange is extremely fast. In less than 10 minutes it reaches thermal equilibrium.
