Saved expensive quilt fabric! Works unbelievably well.
I recently attended a quilt conference and purchased several yards of beautiful hand-dyed fabric. I also purchased the recommended setting solution and followed the seller's instructions. I'm an experienced quilter and just couldn't believe that the solution was going to sufficiently help with dye retention such that I could launder all of them together so I threw in two of the Carbona reusable color grabbers. You can see the result from the picture. The fabrics ranged from light yellow to deep jewel tones. There was zero color bleed on even the lightest of them because the color grabbers absorbed it all! Whew. Going forward, these two will be used for other dark loads and the remaining other two, which still appear white, will be for my lights. I rarely write reviews but this worked so well and saved the day, I decided to. I also appreciate their environmental friendliness.

Work just like the disposables!
After a few color run “accidents” when my kids did laundry, I started using the disposable color absorbers. They work great but when I had a hard time finding them, I ordered these. So far, I’ve used one cloth approximately 15 times and have had no issues so it’s definitely durable. It turns dark as you use it because it absorbs color. The only downside is that there is no way to know for sure when it’s “done.” I don’t want to take any chances so will probably toss it and use a new one soon.

Great reusable color catcher!
This is an unscented cloth that is placed in with the wash to absorb any color leakage, bleeding, etc. It's reusable for 30+ loads and then can be used as a cleaning rag. Use this reusable version to keep all those disposable color grabber sheets out of the landfill! It is good quality cloth, so it can be repurposed after it no longer absorbs the color. I've used them well past the # of loads and they still seem to work (the cloth keeps getting darker). Fantastic product!

I LOVE THESE!
Have been using these for years and they work GREAT! Wash whites with reds, blacks, whatever- with one of these in the wash, you won't have issues! A FANTASTIC invention!

These Work
Years ago, I purchased reusable color catchers from QVC. Until now, I had not been able to find this type again. I was at the grocery store with my sister and she purchased disposable color catchers. I did not even know they existed. She did not know about the reusable so I went on a hunt for the reusable. Ordered these, three for my sister and one for myself. She tried one with new shirts, one was white with small light blue stripes, and the other was white with small navy stripes. Proudly she showed me the cloth caught the blues and there was no evidence of the blues bleeding onto the white. Great first result. She loves them and does not purchase the disposable anymore. I am thrilled to find the reusable version again. The ones I had from QVC were long past needing retirement and become rags. Thank you for carrying this product.

Work great!
Ok so gonna be honest because I suspect this may be an issue for others too -- the two downsides are 1) We usually forget to look for the color grabber before throwing everything in the dryer and they end up with the clean wash, my mom's tasks include folding and she will swipe them thinking they are washcloths! Then we can't find them for the next load!! :-D ok😅maybe that's just an "us problem"2) They say they are good for limited loads then give check boxes on the cardboard package, which is next level and I will probably never check boxes for this, but you can tell when they are quite grey in color from the gleaming white they start out as. And they have work less well then. Depends on how many fabric items you have that might bleed how long they will really last.I like them and get them probably once every other year because I feel like they must be better for the environment than disposables -- we use them for dust rags/spills when they are grey and done catching dye, they have really nice binding so they do have a lot of life to them beyond catching dye. They probably are more expensive than disposables but I feel it is absolutely worth throwing out less.... Next experiment will be to see if the $5 Ikea washcloth 10 pack can be treated some which way to do the same thing !!

I will never do laundry without these on hand
I have used these reusable dye catchers for years. Instead of the one time use ones, this one can be used on 30 loads or more. You never know when that stray piece of laundry will get in your load by accident and this helps prevent those headaches when they do. You will be surprised just how much dye comes out in a load even if they are like colors. The cloth will begin to turn gray with the first use but will continue to darken and trap dyes 30 loads later. If you are looking for an economical way to catch the dyes released with your laundry, this is a must.
