This is a replacement for the cleaning bar I got with my GrooveWasher set, because I am now using that set every time I play an LP and think I'll need a replacement in the foreseeable future. I cannot say enough good things about GrooveWasher. I am transferring a large LP collection that I have owned for some 45 years to iTunes, and using GrooveWasher on the LPs as I go is giving me really gorgeous, clear, skip free sound and very good looking LPs.

I wouldn't say it [or any other product] eliminates STATIC.My ARM hairs try's to grab the LP. Maybe it see's & handles the dried spittle (whatever) better.Or if you don't like this submit. I'm Blind in one EAR, can't SEE out the other EAR I'm DEAF in one EYE, can't HEAR out the other EYE
