Works good the space bar was a little tight at first but works good now good keybord to buy.

Restored a "dead" HP 15 Notebook with this keyboard, it is so close to the original that my daughter actually didn't realise I had replaced the defective original keyboard!

This keyboard is a nearly perfect replacement for the original HP keyboard. It doesn't quite have the exact fit of the original, though. It seems a little snug in places and required more force than it should to get the right side to clip into place. Once installed, it functions identically to the original. Personally, I dislike the feel of using the original keyboard and this one replicates the same feel. The keys on my older HP Compaq laptop are great, but the keys on the newer model feel dead. It must be because of the low-profile design. Also, the original was shiny black plastic in between the keys. This replacement is matte finish, which I prefer. If you have broken keys on your original keyboard, this replacement will work well for you... Just be aware that it might not fit into place perfectly without a little massaging.

Bought to replace 708168-001 for a HP15. It functions perfectly but the top locking tabs are all too short. When the bottom tabs are inserted into their slots to the proper depth for the keyboard screw to be installed the top tabs don't even touch the slots they are supposed to snap into. Thus the keyboard is loose and floppy along the top two rows of keys which makes typing pretty funky. I'll keep it for an emergency spare, but will have to order a different brand that fits correctly.
