Good home chipper
I’ve had this machine for a couple of years now and I’m completely satisfied with its performance. It starts first time and does exactly what I purchased it for, to clean up the constantly falling branches on my wooded lot. Some things to know about this machine: - it’s loud, hearing protection is a must - in-spite of the flaps covering the opening, wood will shoot back at you so wear eye protection and don’t stand in front of the chute -while the machine is capable of chipping up to 3” branches, anything over 2” will jam the machine unless you cut them into short pieces. When the machine jams, you have to take it apart to clear the jam - it will however easily chip multiple small branches together - the instructions advise you use pure gas, which I do. It’s a little expensive but you don’t use much and it will keep the mechanisms clean. - the machine come with a collection bag which works well but it is a cloth material that will eventually wear out (I’ve already asked my wife to repair mine). - the machine comes in a box and requires assembly but the assembly instructions are pretty good and it goes together fast With that said, it’s a great machine snd I highly recommend it.

Pretty good value and works well.
So I've had this about half a year and used it several times. I've probably only have a bout 6 hours run time on it but it really makes quick work of my brush pile. The Pros: The engine is a honda predator clone so parts are cheap and readily available. It does a great job chipping up branches. Its easy to move around and get it to where your brush is. The Cons: The hopper for leaves and brush doesn't work great. The bag is really small and you'll fill it quick. It is pretty loud and chips fly everywhere so eye and hearing protection are a must but its a power tool so that is to be expected. The only problem I've had was the carburetor got clogged after about an hour of use which is a common problem whit certain predator engines. The nice thing is rebuild kits are about $15 for this carb. All I had to do though was clean it out and put on new gaskets. As far as the small bag if you are chipping up a lot of sticks I recommend just laying out a large tarp under the discharge chute then just rake up the chips after your done as they do go everywhere. Otherwise you'll spend more time emptying the bag then actually chipping up sticks. If you only have a few to do you could get away with usng the bag.

Runs and chips great - even better at lower speeds
tl;dr tips: for larger branches I found running at low speeds and pre-cutting them shorter helps. If it's questionably thick, pre-cut into 2-3 foot lengths. Running on low speed, if it bogs down, it'll pause and bounce until the engine speeds up again. If it's already short, it will feed through before the engine stalls out. I have stalled a few times, but each time I knew the branch was questionably thick. The engine started up great afterwards, so stalling never was really a problem. Generally speaking, I've heard from chippers to expect about 2/3 the advertised cut diameter. This chipper excels when considering that as a starting point. It will chip anything that's too small to consider turning into firewood :) Full summary: I debated for some time, I've never been a fan of small motors. Following the instructions, this started up great. I used the 92 gas I pulled out of my motorcycle when I put it away for the winter. I was only able to find SAE 10-30 4 cycle oil, not the recommended SAE15-40. Also works great. Assembly wasn't that hard for someone who excels at ikea furniture. Some parts are a bit heavy, but all the parts on mine were functionally correct. It rolls great, I was able to roll it down the stairs off my porch, down some retaining wall block steps, and down a dirt hill to where I wanted it. (I was also able to roll it back up the hill, haven't tested up the stairs again yet) If you prep the branches first, it feeds great. I use a machete to trim off side branches. I set anything too big off to the side. Cons: I haven't found a good way to put loose / smaller pine branch pieces in yet. The shredder doesn't pull them in and the chipper hopper is too small to easily add them. I just want a bit larger of a chute for the chipper. I haven't really tested on leaves. If I had to do it again, I might just get a chipper-only model that had a bigger feed mechanism. I got this one on sale though, so I'm able to overlook the shredder aspect for my current use case :D Other tips: I was able to get some of the pine needle branches in chipper, but they do sometimes get stuck in the hopper. I save some medium size branches to use as a pusher, so that if/when they get sucked into the chipper they just chip up with all the pine needles.

Great Wood Chipper and Value!!
I researched getting a wood chipper that would handle up to 3" for a while and then found this one. I read the reviews, watched youtube videos, ect. and decided to get this. It arrived in perfect condition (sounds like some others were delivered dented) and the packing was excellent. Took me about an hour to assemble. Easy directions that were accurate and all of the parts were there!! Filled the oil (probably need to say this... take off the chute to add the 16 oz of oil to the engine, then reinstall the chute) There are no instructions for the bag that collects the chips but its really easy... Filled the gas and followed the directions to start the machine.... 3 pulls and it started right up... Easy choke and speed controls. Ran the chipper for 5 hours using the chute and top hopper..I love that you can fill the bag or let the chips go to the ground. . it never missed a beat :)) I was HAPPY and would recommend this machine to anyone. UPDATED after using the chipper another 5 hours, still SUPER HAPPY with it. Starts easy, Runs great, both the hopper and chute chipping work as designed.....Great customer service. After just a second use, my chipper bag developed a hole. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement bag right away at N/C. THANK YOU!!!

Shreds like a dream.
Still going strong. Easy to start and so far it has taken everything I’ve thrown at it. I just wish I had more catch bags because it fills up fast. It was easy to assemble and easy to move around (big tires).

Chips and Shreds great, some quality control issues
Pros: Lets start with the good. •Motor started right up and ran like a champ •Does what it is designed to do very well •FUN!! I know i know, this is a serious piece of equipment, its not a toy, and if you don't respect it it can hurt you. That being said using this thing is a blast. My neighbors are going to find me stealing fallen branches and leaves in the middle of the night so I can sacrifice them to the jaws of the chipper gods. Cons: •My shipment came without the collection bag or some of the required hardware. Amazon promptly shipped me out another bag to use, so not a huge deal but still mildly frustrating and makes me question the attention to detail. A quick trip to the hardware store procured the bolts I needed to finish assembly. •Build quality control issues. This is my main gripe. The top hopper is attached by screwing M8x20 bolts into nuts which are welded onto the bottom main unit. One of these nuts was perfect and the bolt went on easy, and two more with a little persuasion. The last nut however was not oriented well or was fouled when welding. It wouldn't feed the bolt for more than a few threads. Fortunately it was easy to access and my angle grinder quickly took off the offending nut in less than a minute. A nylon locking nut from the garage then finished the assembly. -1 star for this issue

UPDATE: GOOD LUCK IF YOU NEED PARTS. SUPPORT IS THE WORST.
UPDATE: GOOD LUCK IF YOU NEED TO ORDER PARTS. I emailed customer service on Sept 2 and as I write this on Sept 23 I still haven't received a reply. So I figured I'd called because the SuperHandy website and the GreatCircleUS.com website have ZERO info on how to order replacement parts. So I call the support number and get the runaround from an automated system that obviously hateg my guts. When I FINALLY do get to customer service I get put in the queue and the system tells me I am [in a robotic voice] "NUMBER 1" so I sit there on hold for about 5 minutes where I'm repeatedly told I"m #1 in the queue and then I get a prompt that says "please leave a message after the beep". What an absolute joke for customer service. Do yourself a favor and buy a wood chipper (or anything else that SuperHandy, LandWorks, and GreatCircleUS brands sell) from somebody else because this has been an absolute nightmare and I regret spending this much money on something I can't seem to get replacement parts for now. **************************************** IGNORE EVERYTHING BELOW THIS! IT MIGHT WORK JUST FINE BUT IF IT EVER STOPS WORKING, OR YOU NEED A PART, YOU ARE SCREWED! **************************************** I was kind of worried it wouldn't be able to handle anything bigger than what amounts to a "stick" but it handles thicker branches (like 1.5 inches thick) with no problem. This thing is a beast and I'm VERY happy with hit. It gets the job done quickly too. The only knock is that it works so good and so fast that the bag fills up quick, but I that's not a big deal to me.

It has been working perfectly
Make sure to follow instructions. It seems they made changes on the device but forgot to adjust the manual. It is easy to figure it out during assembly. Using the top for pinestraw clogs it sometimes. Make sure to have a wood stick to assist. It is strong and loud, neighbors can hear easily. The bag looks sturdy, but it could not hold the power of the machine and tear apart the beginning of it after some days of use. Make sure the wood are not too thick. It can manage up to 2” easy. But after that, you are working on its limit and it might clog. I try to avoid to make it last longer. For now, I am really enjoying it. It saved me a lot of money already.

Good unit
It’s a good little unit for what it is. I’ve put about 10hrs on it so far. It has shredded and chipped everything I’ve put through it. I’ve put the largest pieces of mountain ash that would fit in the chute and no issue's. They only thing I would suggest is a push stick

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The Super Handy gas powered wood chipper is a compact and reliable garden tool designed for processing branches and yard debris. It has a durable metal body, is well assembled, and looks solid and new. The gasoline engine with a recoil start had no trouble starting at around −25 degrees. The wide feed hopper with rubber flaps makes operation safer, and the chipped material is discharged through a side chute. All parts fit perfectly, assembly was easy, and it comes with a one year warranty, so I plan to start using it actively in the spring.

“Super handy” Wood shredded.
This compact shredder is ideal for an old man like myself. The shredder is well constructed with good quality metal, and well designed. Nothing about this product is flimsy. It is tough and built with metal of a suitable gauge. Highly recommend this compact shredder.
