PROS:I bought this car for my 5 year old's b-day. He looooves it! The biggest thing for him is it's versatility as it can drive well on water, grass, dirt, etc... with little issue. He accidentally drove it down a large staircase and the car still works great- seems very durable. It's also very easy for him to control compared to other cars we've had. Great that it can flip over and continue to drive, almost fool proof to operate.CONS:Battery life (not bad, maybe 20 mins of solid use) But charging the battery could be made easier. I'd recommend the manufacturer to replace the 4 screws to remove the battery with a quick release lever or something. Just annoying to have to have a screw driver handy each time we want to charge the battery.

Edit: contacted the company and they were very quick and generous with their response. They have assured me a replacement is in the mail!! Eagerly awaiting the replacement!This would have been very cool and my 12 year old son was so excited when he opened it for his birthday. He used it only 2 times on dry land and then it quit working for no apparent reason. He is very gentle with his toys. The wheels on one side have completely stopped turning. The window for return is past and he cannot find the original box...i think it got thrown away with all the birthday trash. So basically, this was money down the drain and I have a super disappointed kid.

My grandson enjoys playing with this car. At first I did not think it was a great purchase because it was a little pricey but after ordering other ones he seems to enjoy this one the best. It goes in the grass really well, it flips and it does all kind of the tricks that he just loves. I ordered another one today thinking it was gonna be the exact same thing because it was exact price and I’ll post a picture of the difference. The only problem is you have to keep charging the battery and it’s a little bit hard for my grandson today but there’s really no biggie for me.

*EDIT* This company has excellent customer service. They saw my poor review, contacted me and sent me a replacement immediately. Not many companies do that. 5 star!It was fun for a few weeks but broke after that. The wire came apart from the battery and would require welding to repair.

Did expect much out of these to be honest, we got 2, but man they are a blast. They last a good amount of time on a charge, recharge quickly, and are pretty much indestructible. Remote is a bit wonky when you are trying to turn under speed, but otherwise these things are a blast. Kids love the fact they can flip them over and keep going. We have yet to get them stuck or jammed up.

This car looked amazing, it was a gift for my 5 years old son, he loved it, he was able to play with it only five days, on the fifth day we put in inside a pool, I checked that the batteries cabinet was well closed before put it in the water, after 4 minutes session in the water, we put it out, spout the water from it, and the next time we tried to turn it on, it didn't. I thought the batteries run out, but after charging it all night long, We tried to turn it on again, but it didn't turn on... checking the batteries I saw that they got wet and ruined the unit. I can't believe how easy I lost my money.

Our son loved it so much, but all it took was one accidental drop of the remote in to the water that the car was driving across and the remote became useless… We tried to dry it out by immediately removing batteries and putting it in a bag of rice but it was no use. Sad to see they don’t offer a replacement battery. He only had the car 24 hours. Yes, there is a warning on the remote that it is not waterproof.

Good: This was easy and fun for an 8 year old to operate. Colorful. Easy to drain after using in water.Bad: Even though it is easy for an adult to get into the battery compartment, a child might not be able to. The connector for recharging the battery is very difficult to remove even for an adult because.I still give it a five star because it is fun to use with kids and seems to be very waterproof.We have two and the remotes pair with the unit when turning the unit and remote on. At first we though we had a problem because one remote operated both units. When we turned the second unit off and on again and turned the second remote on, then each controller only operated one car each.

Excellent toy for the price. My son and his friends are at that stage where they are very rough on toys and so far it has held up very well. The only issue is that the rubber treads get a bit worn and loose, but he has been spinning it in circles on the cement deck of our pool to “dry it out” which would be pretty abusive on any rubber. The car is faster than expected, especially when batteries are fully charged. It does slow slightly especially right at the end of life, but I believe they are Ni-cad batteries, so this is normal. It holds up very well in water, though we have noticed the occasional drop of water in the battery compartment after extensive trips in the pool. We have noted no rusting on any of the hardware despite it being a salt water pool. Finally, two toys will work at once and the remotes do not interfere with each other.I had spoken directly with the seller by email and they resolved a small issue I had immediately, in a fashion that far exceeded my expectations. They are very reliableIn summary, my wife found this toy online and I was convinced it would be a bit of a let down given the price, but it has been the exact opposite, the toy and the seller have been amazing.

The controller had a huge lag, was pretty much unusable. Battery life was very poor, about 10 minutes. Returned right away.

It's an all around great little RC car. 4x4 skid steer... a blast to drive for the price! Fully sealed for snow and water. I bought 3 (one for each in the family) and we make races in the packed snow! Very fun. Note there is no suspension and it's not made for loose snow, it gets stuck in thick snow! The trigger (throttle) on the remote is a bit flimsy so be careful using it. Other than that it's great fun for a cheap price!
