Good for roses and protecting your watch!
Very happy with these. I have very short fingers, yet wide and most gloves are ridiculous on me. These were a good fit! Live the length and I’ve been table to trim my roses with ease. Occasionally a thorn will poke through the material, but it’s rare. They have held up through mud and being hosed off multiple times. Other reviewers are correct though, they are not waterproof. But my other gloves aren’t either so I don’t really mind. I also bought these because the shorter gloves don’t cover my Apple Watch and I was tired of getting dirt on it. Problem solved!

Best Thorn Protection
I was really pleased with this purchase. The Gloves are of good quality. I have a large Rose bush & due to being 80 & having very thin skin. I needed them. I saw them in a catalog & they were like $29.99 but they only offered Medium & Large sizes. I being petite needed to have size small to prevent my constant bleeding from trimming them. So I thought just for kicks I would check that price & see if I could find someone offering a small. My kids always tell me go to "Amazon Mom, they have everything." Well they were right. I immediately located these great pruning gloves in a size small & way less money then the magazine was offering. These gloves fit my fingers & hands perfectly with the protection up to my elbows whiling pruning my roses. No more thorny cuts for me. I recommend them wholeheartedly. True product, right price & I am thrilled.

Great gloves. We will get them again
My wife loves these gloves when pulling poison ivy. The forearm's are protected.

Nice Gloves -Run Large
Nice gloves. I used them today to prune bougainvilleas (thorns!) and they worked fine - no pokes! I love the long length and they saved my forearms, which is why I ordered them. I usually order a ladies large, but got medium based on reviews and I’m glad I did. The thumb and pinky finger are both a little long in the glove, but the rest of the fingers fit fine.My only complaint was the way they were sent. I clearly got a return because the package was ripped open and the card on the gloves bent (likely from the previous person trying them on). It just seemed a little tacky and unlike Amazon. Gloves were clean and unused so I kept them.

First Try At Roses, First Pair of Rose Gloves
I have regular/standard gardening gloves and figured they'd be just fine managing my new roses. I was a fool! I was getting stuck and stabbed all over the place. The leather ones worked better than standard, but then my arms still got scratched up. I did a little research and saw that this brand was recommended by some of the gardening websites. I took a chance and ordered the ones in the least expensive color. I have been pleasantly surprised. They fit well, I got Large. I am overweight and have wider forearms at 5'10 than an average woman and these fit. They aren't roomy, but they aren't tight. I also have pretty sensitive hands, no callouses etc. So while my hands look nice, wearing gardening gloves can be it's own challenge. In most leather gloves the inside seems start rubbing sores around my joints. I haven't had that issue at all with these. They are comfortable and seem sturdy. Should the pair I have wear out, I would buy these again.

Protects against thorns. TWICE!!
I just got these yesterday so although I marked 5 stars on everything, maybe I'm reviewing too soon. This morning I cut our Knockout Roses back (and they really needed it) and these gloves were AMAZING! I was wearing a 3/4 sleeve blouse with a hat and glasses and the gloves totally protected my hands and arms. I am so very pleased with these. I had read several folks say they were not thorn 'proof'. Well, these really did the trick for me. Now if I can just get someone to come help us bag the rose bush branches and haul them off! That will be another day.Feb 28, 2021.... addition to original review. These gloves are the BEST! After cutting the roses back several months ago we decided to let them dry and we would burn in our fireplace. So this afternoon was the day. I donned my wonderful thorn proof gloves and got to work clipping the rose branches into smaller pieces. Without these gloves, this job would have been a nightmare. Thank you for a tremendous product to help me get a scary job completed.

WOW I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE
I don't write many reviews but I had to on these. I have this very thorny blackberry bush I have scratches all over me just to try to cut and I came in went on Amazon and read the reviews and ordered these asap. I got them in the mail other day and I was excited to try these and boy do they work I didn't get stuck at all I could grab the branches with no problem I love that they cover the arms and I got the medium size and the gloves fit great. I totally recommend these for those terrible thorny bushes. Now I don't be getting attacked lol I'll be doing the attacking 😀 I only used once so far if any issues I'll come back and update my review.

Great ROSE gloves but order a size up!
I have small hands. Initially, I would have ordered a size small, but I kept reading reviews that small was too small (like for a child). I was hesitant about ordering in medium, because I want my gardening gloves to fit like, well - gloves! I did order the medium, albeit skeptically. My hand is 6 1/2" and these fit perfectly. As to their durability - these are rose gloves, folks. I prune my dozen rosebushes & even several barberries & they protect my arms just fine. They aren't made to protect from long thorns, nor are they made for doing rock-moving landscaping projects - you need leather work gloves for those types of jobs. I have four different types of gardening gloves plus shoulder length pond cleaning gloves, as I garden for many hours a week, & the right glove for the job is very important to me. If you are looking for a great pair of ROSE gloves, these are perfect & quite well-made. Just trust that they really do run small & you'll be happier ordering a size up, especially if you have a short palm but long fingers!

Good quality but a bit inflexible
Good quality, well finished, but as my wife's hands are weak, she finds them hard to grasp plant materials properly.

Thick!!
Nice & thick, good quality & length

Super tough and hard wearing
These gloves are so tough yet comfortable. I've used them in many hard gardening tasks, with a lot of abrasive action on rocks and grit. They get wet all the time and have survived everything. I'm so happy with them. The extra length is great when working with long allergic weeds. The touch of colour is a nice touch.
