Kiefer SaferSwimmer H2O Swimming Buoy

Every open water swimmer should buy and use this every time you don't have a kayaker with you. I use it every swim and forget it's there. This particular one, I was hoping to carry around one water bottle in it. However, the cavity is too large to hold tight just one bottle. I have to insert two bottles into the cavity to make them snug. This is alright, though, because depending on circumstances, I may carry water, HEED, sweet tea, Endurolyte, Gatorade, hot soup, who knows what. I want to train for marathon swimming. Anyway I do wish it would hold just one bottle snugly.

Hole in it... Sucks. It worked great after I fixed it.

The buoy's air is leaking. It made me embarrassed.

Great product

I received one as a gift (not the H2O, just the regular buoy). Used it three times and it worked great. On the fourth swim, it leaked and soaked everything inside the dry bag. Luckily, my car keys and cell phone were not in it this time! I contacted customer support from Keifer and they have not responded after a week.

Used 3 times and the 4th time I blew it up I heard air seeping from it...under the area where you could place a water bottle. I never put anything inside that area and was careful about deflating and storing when I was finished with it. I gave it two stars because it did make me more visible in open water.
