Apart from the case, these are great sturdy tools, they work great for what I bought them for and I'm sure they'll continue to work well from now on

I had been using a very cheap (think dollar store) set of mini screwdrivers for quite a few years. Recently I needed to replace a battery in a watch and decided that I should get a better set of screwdrivers. These are reasonably priced and are far better than the ones I had been using previously.

Review for the XOOL 9pc precision screwdriver set. I finally got tired of all the cheap precision screwdrivers I have stashed around the house that are hard to grip, don't work well, have easily breakable tips, etc. and decided I was going to invest in a quality set. After a little studying, it seemed like S2 steel was an excellent choice for this type of screwdriver, so that became a must-have requirement. I also wanted a long shank for the occasional recessed hole that I need to get a screw out of. Most of the other sets I looked at were interchangeable bit tools that had a larger head that would limit the diameter of holes it could fit down.This set had good reviews and met all the requirements and had a comparatively good price. My initial use was a little disappointing, however. The shafts of almost all of the drivers are not perfectly straight or are not perfectly centered in the handle. This creates a noticeable wobble when you are spinning them. It makes the tools seem cheap, which is a shame because they otherwise have excellent specs. 1 star off for this.I'm not really a fan of tool rolls, and this one didn't change my mind. I'd rather have some sort of a hard case. The elastic straps that hold these in the roll tend to cover right where the tip size marking is making it a little more difficult to find the particular tool you are looking for. This isn't a big enough problem to take a star off for, though. I'll likely keep my most commonly used ones out of the case anyway.I haven't used these enough to comment on their durability, but I have high hopes the S2 steel is far better than whatever is used in the cheap drivers that have failed me in the past.Overall, 4 stars. I can't entirely recommend these as it may be worth spending more for a German-made tool that won't have the wobble problems (I assume). These are a decent value, however.

Great tool kit! Perfect for all those miscellaneous projects that pop up where a normal screwdriver is too big. I love being able to grab the kit knowing I will have the right size tool for disconnecting wires on a circuit board, fixing sunglasses, etc..... I saw a few negative reviews on this tool kit. I can't imagine what projects the people with negative reviews were working on. I suspect they were misusing the application for these tools....

Very nice selection of different screwdriver tips. They seem sturdy and so far work well. I especially like the storage for the screwdriver set. The roll is perfect and will hold up far longer than the typical plastic case that usually comes with these sets.

Set fulfills all promises. Small blades, long shafts. Light and sturdy. Handles offer really nice grip. Size clearly marked on each driver.

A nice complete set--with large, easy to hold handles, and packaged well in the nylon tarp wrap. My son covets them.

These screwdrivers are too long for fine close up Eyeglass repair. The added Length makes contact with the screw difficult since you have to adjust your pivot to sit flat on the screw head or strip the fine screws, a major negative in the performance area. This factor is a problem since it adds the difficulty of keeping the screwdriver dead set on the screw head and one wrong degree of deviation will ruin, the screw, keep in mind that these drivers are made of S2 (?) steel which is much harder than the screw you're working on and as a result a deformation of the screw head will be the end factor. I really wish that made these drives shorter since the do have potential.Now on the case......Can't see the drivers size and it seems that this case was an afterthought in design and production it is also design for 7 drivers not 8, sure, it's good looking but in function it fails miserable since it's so close to being great.Sure this is a cheap set of drives and I should of bought something better had I known the shortcomings of this set. But damn! So close to being a much better set if only a little more attention was applied to the end process, I would have paid more without any resentment and the unpleasant surprise...set does look good, but good looking doesn't make a good product. I am sure that for other applications this set will be great, hence the 3 stars...not here though.
