Wore them Dec 15th and 16th for the first time since buying them. Awesome warm feet while ice fishing. The stud bottoms were great on first ice. I have already wore them 17 hours in 2 days on the ice when it was 5 degrees with a wind chill. Tall sidewalls and 1200 grams of insulation. The bottoms were hard to get off the first time when changing while on my feet, but time will tell. Toe and bottom area is like golashes and top hugs the calves very well. Would buy correct size and not go over one like I did. but they tie tight enough to hold. I typically wear a 13 and not a narrow and bought a 14

After researching thoroughly, I decided upon the Korkers for a gift for my son. As an avid outdoorsman, it was important to have a heavily insulated boot. THE STUDS ON THESE ARE TOO SHORT COMPARED TO KOLD KUTTER ICE RACING SCREWS SO THEY ALLOW FOR MORE SLIPS BY FAR. THEY ARE NOT NEARLY AS WARM AS CABELAS PACK BOOTS. THE TOE BOX IS NOT ROOMY ENOUGH AND TOP OF THE BOOT WHERE YOUR TOP OF YOUR FOOT TOUCHES IS TOO LOW AND HELPS MAKE YOUR FEET COLD MUCH FASTER. I'LL PROBABLY INSTALL THE ICE RACING SCREWS INTO THESE. I GOT THEM VERY CHEAP, SO FOR THE MONEY THEY FUNCTION LIKE THEY SHOULD FOR WELL UNDER RETAIL PRICE.

These boots suck. They are not very well fitted and not ergonomic. They crease strangely and are difficult to walk in. If your looking for serious winter boots for extended time out in the snow/mountains. Then don’t buy these. Just get some mountaineering boots or something real. These boots will not satisfy your winter boot needs.

I have tested the Korkers out at -20 air temperature with -40 wind chill and it held up great and kept my feet warm.

The boy wore them all day , the he got them... he loves them. Very nice boots... I was more than pleased.

I love the boots. They are a great help to me in my place of employment, where I work in sub-zero environment freezers.
