Many people say this is a fake knock-off Lacoste shirt. Is this true?

I think a lot of people in America think Lacoste's shirts are knockoffs on Amazon because of the Euro size difference. I wear a large US size polo and t-shirt, but in LaCoste I wear a XL because the brand is French. I’m not implying all of these LaCoste shirts on Amazon are real and not fake, we all know that it’s a roll of the dice. Always make sure it’s returnable for free. I’ve received three regular Pima cotton crewneck tees and they were genuine and lasting well. My advice go up one size and be aware that these shirts fit tighter in the arms and might shrink and never purchase anything here that’s not 100% returnable. Hope this helps.

All I can say is item ran small and I had to order a size up for my son who typically would usually wear the size equivalent to Lacoste’s size 2.

i am 56" both in the shoulders and the waist around will a size 9 fit snug or loose so I can carry a detectives 38special under the shirt at the waist

That sounds like it will be tighter than snug.
