I bought this because it is less expensive than the Ryobi brand batteries, and the Ryobi brand 40s have been very unreliable. Ryobi customer service is poor, and the hoops that they make you jump through to obtain a replacement battery that is still under warranty are really excessive. The last time that I called Ryobi for a battery that I still have that is defective, I was on hold for a half hour before speaking with a person who then transferred me to another department that kept me on hold for another 13 minutes prior to my hanging up. My life is worth more than that, and it has been my experience every time (I've had at least 3 Ryobi batteries that didn't live out the 5-year warranty period).In waltz's this knock off, and it is so far doing very well. It holds a charge well and seems to have ample capacity. Very pleased so far!

purchased 11/23 failed 3/24 5 months of use in lightweight equipment ? mover/blower/trimmer will pay more for Ryobe in the future. You get what you paid for lower price not worth it

So I purchased this battery after a another one I ordered was lost during shipping ( different manufacturer) however the reviews were both the same another plus was that I ordered and it was delivered on the same day via Amazon. I purchased this for my Ryobi brushless expand it powerhead for some weeds and brush I want to remove along my property and I was not only impressed with how the brush cutter attachment works but with how powerful this battery is. I cut a decent portion of the brush along my backyard and a lot of tall weeds behind my shed and I went to check the battery expecting it to be at least on half but the battery was still flashing on the forth dot. Super impressive and worth the money. Will buy another for sure.. I don't think Ryobi even has a 6.0 battery.

The battery works fine and is a good replacement, however, the one I purchased lasted about a year but the original battery lasted much longer, closer to 5 years. So, this battery is cheaper but isn't the same quality. It's fine if you don't mind buying a new battery every year. Also want to mention the red display on the battery is hard to see. Green lights would make my life much easier. I can't complain much and the battery does work fine but just won't last as long. Just want you to know what to expect. I'm fine with it. I am disappointed but it is what it is.

This is half the size of the Ryobi battery, so I was suspicious of the capacity. It lasts as long operationally as the Ryobi battery, so it must have the same capacity. It works the same as the Ryobi battery on the charger, and on the mower. Actually quite pleased with it, considering to the price.

I was looking for a replacement battery for my Ryobi leaf blower. The original OEM battery had pretty much worn out, and didn't have much run-time left. I was looking for a replacement that had a higher amp/hour capacity (for longer run-time), a form factor that matched the original battery (so it would fit my existing charger), and an "affordable" cost (these batteries are *expensive* -- especially Ryobi-brand OEM batteries).This battery fit the bill perfectly. It has a 6 amp/hour capacity (run-time is no problem, now), it works in my existing charger perfectly, and although not cheap, it was less expensive than other alternatives. It has a "capacity gauge (5 LED's) that illuminate and flash to indicate charge/charging. All in all, a good value for the money, and I would recommend it as a replacement for an existing OEM 40-volt Ryobi battery.

I bought 3 batteries from this seller one worked fine the other 2 would not even take a charge. Luckily amazon makes it easy to return faulty products!

Purchased two if these batteries to replace short lived Ryobi 40 volt ones that came with the initial purchase of a leaf blower and hedge trimmer. The replacement batteries hold the charge longer and show no signs of failure. I will buy these again, I strongly recommend.
