A Solid story. Holds up well as a stand alone.
I really enjoyed both brothets perspective. With out spoilimg anything vital. Both they, and the supporting Primaris characters where found likeable by me. In addition the Ork protagonists were enjoyable. It is fun to see this xeno race personified as unique individual characters. Put this all behind a solid plot that can stand alone on its own. However I feel.a sequel just as well would work very well. And would grab it up easily.

Orks!
A good read overall if a little forced in spots, but the great part of this is that it is told with both the ultramarines' and the orks' perspectives. It's one of the few 40k books that actually present orks as characters with motivations and personalities.

Supremely Forgettable
There is nothing memorable in this book. It reveals no new information or insight into anything of consequence, except that the Ultramarines allow biological "blood" brothers to serve together in their chapter. This book serves as an excellent guideline as to why that is a terrible idea. There is simply no reason to recommend this book, everything about it is forgettable. It isn't necessarily bad, but would generally fall into the category of "bolter-porn", and the plot progresses exactly as you would expect it to.There are better reads/listens out there.

Courage and Honour
Solid but a bit run of the mill 40k. Does not do much to advance Primaris Marines background.

Worth it.
3.5 stars started out slow got really good at the end. Good dynamics between the characters. Very bolter pornish like other people have said. Would recommend!
