My partner uses these as part of his regular home workout. At first he thought they were a bit of a square fit in his hands compared to his previous pair which had rounded cushioned handles. After a couple of days use, however, he came to appreciate the design and prefers them.They are made of a durable plastic. The handles are ruberised and ridged for grip and shock absorbsion. They have a smooth, silent action. The spring tension is easily adjusted on a screw thread so the strength can be increased as you progress.Handy and great value.
