Just What I Expected

You could do better, but you could do worse.
For a (relatively) cheap gaming style mouse the Monoprice 6-Key Gaming Mouse is okay. Cosmetically it has nice lines and is (and I am perhaps being generous...) inspired by the Razer mice. The mechanics of the mouse are probably what I like the least and I dock it a star. The amount of effort to click the right and left buttons is quite a bit more than the Logitech gaming mouse I regularly use. The center wheel feels a bit clunkier. The side buttons to me feel just a little off. The hand feel of this mouse is good, it is very shallow and my thumb on the side kinda drags on my mouse pad.The Mouse sensitivity button really needs an associated display for what mode your mouse is in.It looks good, but a couple of minor points. It was a lost opportunity when the side accent palstic was not clear and the interior color LED's were not shining through. The glowing scroll wheel is nice looking, but only green. The LED lighting the M on the body is color shifting, to me that looks odd. The M that the light shines through is not clear, there is some flash or something which combined with the ultra cheap USB cord gets a star docked.You could do worse, but this goes back in the closet as my in case of emergency mouse.

All around great mouse with some weight. The scroll wheel has just stopped working and mouse 4 doesn't always work after 3 years of use.
