Perfect!
It takes a little finesse to get your project situated just right, but once it done, it looks great. I’m really happy with my first attempt. I’ve got 3 more sizes to try out, so I better get back to stitching.

Nice, but difficult
I used the largest hoop to frame a cross stitch piece. It works really well, you can literally get it as tight as a drum. I like the faux wood. The ring is actually a rubbery material. I will say I had a hard time getting it on. The trick is to position the bottom ring, then fabric, get it all centered, then ROLL the rubber ring into the bottom ring. After it's on you can pull on the ends of the material to straighten and tighten.Mine is a little off center because I was too close to the edge of the fabric on one side.Would buy again.

These can't be beat!
Of all the different types of embroidery hoops out there, these are absolutely the best. They hold your material snugly and they're attractive so you can use them as a frame to hang your work.

Measurements shown not accurate to inner ring/display width
While the material is sturdy (knew it would be flexible rubber type) and its easy to use, unfortunately the sizes listed can be misleading. For example the 10.2inch largest size, the arrows look to be measuring the width of the inner ring, basically the space in which your embroidery will be displayed. But when I tried to fit my finished 9.8 inch cross stitch, it was drastically cut off. After measuring I found true measurements to be only 9 inches. My bad for not combing through other reviews before purchasing but I do wish measurements were more clearly stated

Great value
The faux wood look seems a bit off, but still presentable and makes my pieces look beautiful. Very easy to use and pulls the fabric nice and taut.

An exercise in patience OR low cost rage therapy?
They're so pretty, but oh my so hard to get set up. Definitely recommend putting your fabric on the hoop *before* you start the project instead of trying to center your stitch afterwards. Definitely recommend having a buddy help you. The faux wood is actually a rubbery rounded noodle that you will pull and roll onto the white inner track.

Size is a bit off but they are quite handy
These are pretty great. The outer frame is a rubbery texture so it snaps into place and holds the fabric nice and tight. Would have given 5 stars but like another review said, the sizing is not accurate. Happened to work out just fine for the project I was trying to frame up but be careful if you’ve already stitched a piece, these do run a bit small.

Sizes listed are very inaccurate!
None of the hoop sizes were even close to the posted sizes. I needed the largest hoop for a completed project and it was way undersized as shown in pic.
