OHTO Flash Dry Gel Ballpoint Pen Refill 0.5mm [Black] PG-105NP (Japan Import)

This is my favorite refill for my rOtring 600. It fits perfectly. I really like the needle tip, the ink is nice and black, it writes smooth and doesn't skip. All in all it is a great refill ime.

This refill is extraordinary! It dries faster than the ball point refill that I had in my pen before this, and it writes smooth as butter. I especially like the needle tip as you can really see what you’re writing and be precise. I also like that it’s plastic and see-through so that you can see how much ink you have left and it doesn’t add any unecessary weight to my already hefty pen. Great refill!

My favorite Parker style refill. I’m using it in a Retro 51 Tornado rollerball. The only drawback is that the flash dry doesn’t seem to apply to the Tomoe River paper in my Hobonichi Techo. I’ve managed to smear this ink all over it.

Very nice refill. I'm a fan of a 0.5 tip pen. The ink flows nicely and is a dark black. Actually bought it to fit into a Zebra F 701. With just a little tweaking, it works. Don't have a pen that fits a Parker refill, so can't speak on that. But this refill is specifically for Parker G2 refillable pens. Once I have one, I'm getting another one of these refills for it.

I bought this refill because I read that it works with the Zebra F-701 without any modifications. That's true, but it's not a 100% perfect fit right out of the box. The tip of this refill is just *slightly* too big to fit through the plastic insert in the tip of the F-701 smoothly. It does fit, but there's a bit of friction and it makes the click a little less satisfying at first.I tried removing the plastic insert, but that made the tip a little too loose and wobbly for my taste. I ended up using a small drill bit to stretch/ream out the tip of the insert (by hand) and that did enough to make me happy. I'm sure it will get even smoother as it breaks in over time.As far as the refill itself goes, it writes smoothly and makes a fine dark black line. The ink dries very fast as advertised, and I'm not sure I could smudge it if I tried.

I would not buy this Refill cartridge again. It's very finicky, ink seemed to flow nicely upon initial use, however after several users it started delivering ink intermittently, forcing me to go back over previous writing. Also, if you try and write with the Refill in any position other than straight up and down, it stops delivering ink completely. It does dry quickly, reducing potential smears, especially good for lefties.
