Works will with solid state SSD
This review is for the Geekworm T300 SSD expansion board for Jetson Nano. I used this with an SATA to mSATA adapter (similar to: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007PPZ2I8) and a 250GB mSATA SSD which ran cool and reasonably fast (240MB/sec IIRC). I think any SSD should work fine. My primary goal was to use it for a swap file rather than using the slow microsd card. It's also nice to use as main home directory work space separate from OS on the microsd. It comes with hardware, screws, standoffs, etc and a USB3 (usb-A to usb-A) jumper from nano to expansion board. It includes a "Y" power cable which I didn't use, for two reasons. First the USB3 interface provided enough power for the SSD so the separate power input to the expansion board wasn't needed. Second, and my only complaint, is the Y power cable input barrel jack is 2.5mm diameter, and won't accept a 2.1mm ID plug on a Nano power supply. So if you already have a 5v 4A power supply for the nano it won't work as an input to the Y cable. You'll need to buy a 2.1mm to 2.5mm adapter, or buy a new power supply with a 2.5mm plug. It's not fatal, just annoying, and again, it's likely not an issue if using a SSD without the Y cable.

Continuing to test
Update 3/4: After I received my replacement I was able to verify that the LED lights up and the board appears to work. Please note that the LED does not indicate power but an active USB connection. However, since my Nano was also dead on arrival I am awaiting a replacement for that device to push forward with testing. I will update again once I am able to pair it with a working Nano.Original Review: My board was dead on arrival. It has been returned through Amazon. I will update if the replacement works.

The screws don't fit the stand
Two of the screws are too big and they don't fit in the stand. And two of the screws connecting the hard drive are too short.

Works great, no issues
I was leery to purchase after reading some reviews. Everything worked great for me out of the box. Screws and power splitter work great, no issues attaching and booting from SSD.

Haven't used it yet because....
Hate the splitter needed to use this. The female head is a different size than the 2 male heads so you'll need a different power supply than you did if you were using the nano before. Ordered a splitter where all three heads are the same size. May update review when that shows up and I can use this like I hoped.

Works as advertised.
It works, did not need the extra cable, managed to power everything with it only hooked up to the mainboard. I also got their case that fits this shield, the problem with this is the way its oriented inside the case. it will interfere with any wireless usb connections you got, so i had to make an extension. other than that it works great.

It was what I needed
It was what I needed to add storage to my project

Look elsewhere, this product largely does not work.
Having problems getting these to work as desired. It also did not fit one of my models 100% (older nano appears to not fit). The newer nano drops power regardless of the power supply used (tried multiple). Would not recommend.
