87W/90W USB-C Adapter Charger, Ponkor Type C Power Adapter Charger for MacBook/Pro, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Dell, Huawei, HP and Other Laptops or Smart Phones with USB C

My cat flipped over the extension cable and caused the charger to trip the breaker as result of a spike. The charger died with it plugged into my laptop, I’m unsure whether it is luck or design, but it stopped my laptop from frying as evidently it works and charges perfectly. 5 stars, not much to complain about the build quality: cable could be better (it is good enough) but it comes with a velcro strap. The charger block itself is not top-shelf, as it is huge due to the 90w requirement, however it is nothing but a specific problem as it is tall and deep, but not wide enough to bother other plugs. (gallium nitride chargers are smaller, more efficient and expensive). Also, it does charge at 90w when it is functioning.

Product is great and works well, giving a low rating to the power rating as my laptop is 135W and there’s no USB-C that I could find that goes higher than 85-90W. Used it on my HP specter 15 when my original charging port was fried, will charge but fairly slowly obviously given the lower rating. Port has been repaired but will keep this as a useful backup

Good fast charger and done the job for 11 month's, then the cable at the C plug end broke and stopped charging. If the cable had been a USB connection at the charger end, I could have bought a new cable for it. 😔

I'm always a little cautious about purchasing electrical items from brands I've not heard of so spent quite some time looking at customer reviews to try to determine which were scoring the odd low review dues to safety issues and which were just being picky. I eventually decided on this charger to power my new working from home arrangement and have not been disappointing. It delivers plenty of power to charge my surface laptop quickly while powering a number of accessories using a USB-C hub, The charger itself runs slightly warm to the touch with all day use as you would expect from any charger but at no point have I been remotely concerned. This is quite a bulky device but it extends above the plug socket itself so it doesn't interfere with other plugs if, like me, you're using an extension cable to plug it in

Robust, easy to use, powerful. I use this as a travel charger as it fits helpfully in a bag pocket. It seems really well made With very few technical downsides. The only downside is the bulk of the charger at the plug end, which could potentially cause problems whan wanting for space, but it's not a huge issue!

I bought this a year ago. The adapter seemed okay at the start but I noticed a fault after months. The product is also non durable and broke within 12 months. Problem 1: The UK 3-pin AC plug is not earthed (which as a double insulated device is acceptable) however the plug is secured to the rest of the transformer/chassis by a small plastic tab (and glued). I use this 1-2 times per week when I am away from home, I think it is exceptionally poor quality for the plastic AC plug part to break after this light usage. Problem 2: This is not compatible with higher-end MacBooks. I believe when you are doing an intensive task e.g. video encoding/streaming, the adapter cannot provide enough power (the full 87/90watt) causing the MacBook to fall to 99% momentarily. Seconds later the charge completes again causing the MacBook to continuously play the 'charging' sound every 45 seconds. Overall, an irritating product that I will not be replacing with the same model.

So far so good. It's hardy enough so hoping it will be a long lasting charger. No issues with the charger wire so far. I interchange this with my phone and laptop and both have charged without issue.
