This takes a while to ship and set up. We had two engineers working on it for 2-3 hours. But it is totally worth it for the price and quality!A few notes on assembly:The written instructions were sometimes off, but if you double check with the pictures you can figure it out.Go over all the instructions first so you don't put together pieces that need to be messed with later for assembly (we had to undo and redo some assembly steps).Regarding software and usage:This laser uses LaserGRBL, which is a fantastic open source software. There are lots of tutorials, upgrades, and special features available online (for instance, you can google how to get a preview button to trace your design first without engraving). The laser works much faster than a previous laser engraver we had with the same watt specs, probably due to better and more efficient software.I really like that there is no base plate on this laser engraver, so we can set it on furniture and large pieces to be engraved.I recommend this laser engraver. After initial assembly, it has been easy to use. I am looking forward to many projects!

It took me some time to assemble like two hours, but one of them i spend it trying to understand where to install the laser controller. Just did a couple of extra holes under the X step motor and everything else came handy.If you use windows 10 get sure when you install the drivers to check previous windows version compatibility and also get sure the controller is installed and working to install the driver. It worked great.The only reason I am giving 4 stars us because I want to see the performance and I wont know until time pass by. If works great, will change my review to 5 if not I may lowered. Lets see what happened.

I cannot get the software to work and no support

It contains the driver and software,this takes me few hours to figure out.After the setup is complete, the machine is very convenient to use.
