I use Carabiners all the time at work for many different reasons and always have them attached to me somewhere. This one is FANTASTIC and HIGHLEY RECOMMEND.

Note this is the second time I’ve bought this particular carabiner; I found the first ones so useful and reasonably priced I figure they’re worth having around. This review is for the 12 kN carabiner; it is basically the same review as I gave the product previously (why reinvent the wheel).However let me be open and note that the delivery package included a note offering three free extra items of the same in exchange for a five star review. At the price point of these (one of their plus points) I wouldn’t give five stars just for three extra carabiners.I have done though for the following reasons:(1) The aforementioned price point; I bought these because of the value for money they offered.(2) I bought these to hang a hammock from; they readily took my weight (90 kg – and, yes, I know that may mean I’m overweight or I may just be very tall!) with no apparent distortion.(3) Build quality wise they are light (aluminium), easy to open against the spring gate, smooth with no rough edges to damage ropes etc and large enough for my purposes. I was hooking through a Karrimor hammock suspender and operation of hooking through was smooth and easy.(4) I will reiterate what the web site states in that these are not for climbing purposes. I did not test them with any shock loading so don’t know how they would stand up to a shock impact. If I had and if they did fail the worst I would suffer would be a fall of a few feet onto soft ground probably hurting my pride more than anything else but in climbing you’re risking much more so go with their advice and use something with a higher load factor specifically designed for climbing.(5) I bought the Rose Red for a change of colour; in retrospect it is a bit flowery (I shouldn’t be surprised going by the name) and it’s not a colour I’d probably pick again – the Deep Blue is much nicer.So overall I’m happy to give this five stars (even if I don’t get three free carabiners).

Very similar to the dd hammocks karabiners.Got them for my grandsons hammock . Quality is good . For the price for a pair. Happy with them

Nice looking but the spring ain't tight on the mechanism.

It works as it should. I have no objections.

These arrived promptly, and seem to be very good quality. I have some sheeting to assemble in the treacle mine I work in. These will save time when closing the entrance at night, no more tying down to the sandbags. 4 clips and off home, Perfect.

I use the clips to attach the dogs lead either to itself when wrapped around something or to a hook so that he’s safe and secure - the clips are strong and sturdy but easy to operate.I’ve always felt confident that the clip will hold and won’t break which is incredibly important to me as I don’t want my furry one breaking loose and getting into mischief or dangerous situations whilst my hands are tiedWould buy again
