Great spike shoes, a little funny to walk in; worked great for epoxy floor!
Used these to flake my garage floor epoxy, worked out great and they are sitting in ready for another garage. Helped disperse the flakes very well. A little funky to walk in there those. I tripped up quite a few times so take my advise be careful! You can see the even spread in the photos below. IF you have done a garage floor before without spikes, you know how hard it is to get the flakes even since you have to "flake as you go" I flaked the entire floor at one time.

These are meant to be used for working on resin floors
These are meant to be used for working on resin floors. I had need of the while weed whacking some hillsides but the elastic straps allowed my feet to slip sideways which was very uncomfortable and made me unsteady climbing the "hills", so I will try making leather straps with buckles to use with them this next spring.

Like most posters
Like most posters, I purchased this to epoxy my garage floor.I read reviews, so I was prepared for loose bolts and had a bottle of loctite ready. When they arrived, all of the bolts were extremely tight. I ended up not using loctite and these held together perfectly. They worked exactly as I needed them to.

Avoid at all costs. These will fail, your job will suffer and you might get hurt. Trust me and the others on this. Please.
Not sure how I missed the reviews about these...but I did. And I paid the price. I wish I could give these zero stars. I wish I could give these negative stars. Worst purchase I have ever made from Amazon. Please avoid these at all costs. I implore you to spend a little extra on some better ones. You'd be better off walking on the epoxy barefoot. My experience was just like everyone else's here. I bought these to do an epoxy floor in my basement. The first thing was I couldn't adjust them tightly to my shoes, so they were loose. Then as I began, the nuts holding on the spikes came off one by one. I had to stop and pick them up out the epoxy as I went. Out of the 13 spikes on each shoe when I was done only 2 remained on the right shoe and 1 on the left. As this was happening the shoes became very unstable, it's a miracle I didn't snap an ankle or fall into the epoxy. The loose spikes also made lines and gashes in the epoxy that I was not able to fully roll out. I believe these shoes kept me from getting a nicer result on my floor. You get what you pay for. I really don't like leaving reviews like this but I felt compelled in this case. Heed my warning.

Works as intended; walk slow, small steps!!!
Product is okay. It works as expected but QA is not great. 1 of the screws didn't have any thread. Fortunately, there were 2 extras but what if there wasn't? Strap design looks well thought out and although easy to figure out, there were no instructions on how to assemble.Update 7/16: I used this for another project; this time around, it still works but I almost slipped 4 times. It would've been bad if I fell. I'm docking a star for how dangerous it could be. Walk in very small steps to be safe.

Make sure you tighten every single nut on the bottom ...
Make sure you tighten every single nut on the bottom of these before you put them on!!! Do not just hand tighten them because they will still come loose. They completely came apart while I was spreading epoxy. I had to stop, gather up all the nuts that had come out and fix them to continue my project. When the nuts start coming out you will twist your ankles from having the spikes loose and pressing up into your shoe. Also, I am a woman's size 7 shoe and had to use a small bungee cord to keep these on my feet. I got the job done but these sure did have me sweating mad bullets in the beginning! There are two nut permanently epoxied to my garage floor. I couldn't find them when I was doing the job and now am afraid to knock them loose because it might bring the floor up with it.

like at the control joints
I used these while applying epoxy coating on my garage floor. They worked as expected. I tightened the spikes before using them per the instructions. The only issue is you need to be careful if your floor is uneven, like at the control joints.

they ate a great value. From other reviews
For the cost, they ate a great value. From other reviews, i followed similar procedures. The day they came in, i removed all the nuts, and applied locktite and reinstalled the nuts. Do not overtighten. It's easy to do so. Tight, but not to tight.
