love this book!
This book doesn’t outwardly give you language to describe other families, which I actually love! It SHOWS you what love is in a family (showing up, helping, etc) and displays a variety of family types. :) you can choose to explain or ask prompting questions, but for me, it’s been easy to show my sons that this page has two mommies, this page has two daddies, this page has a mommy and a daddy like us, this page has a grandma. And it’s normalizing all types in the process. We read this all the time with my little boys. ❤️

Good parenting
Great book! I wouldn’t call it LGBTQIA+ by any means, since all it shows is different groups of people caring and loving their children - which is exactly like they will see out there in the world. Glad I got it for my little boy.

necessary for all kids bookcases
Love this book! It is perfect for any family that is open to learning more and understanding that a family isnt just the nuclear idea of man woman and kids. It can be two dads, two moms, blended with step parents, adopted, single parents etc. I love it and we read this one often.

My baby's favorite book
We have two of Sophie Beer's books (the other is Kindness Makes Us Strong) and my 11-month-old asks to read them every day. He loves the simple language and colorful pictures, and I love the welcoming messages and baby-resistant pages.
