Hyundai Elantra (96-13) Haynes Repair Manual Paperback – January 15, 2015

Bought this as my husband's insistence to have on hand for any mechanic questions we could potentially deal with. My husband has used the Haynes Repair Manual that goes with his Chevy truck many times over, and encouraged me to get this one for my Hyundai. It is extremely detailed and informative- I'm glad to have it as a reference and would recommend it to others as well!

Has a lot of useful information. However, especially in terms of emissions controls Elantras changed more than you would think year to year. It is nice having all the specs in one place and not try and dig it up on the internet.

Purchased as a gift for my brother in law. I have one for my car and it has saved me a lot of money to do the repairs on my own. Lots of great information and a great book to keep in the car.

I'm kinda disappointed. Haynes manuals are generally pretty good, and this one covered my '07 Elantra, but the first thing I needed the manual for (speed sensor), it said was too complicated for this manual! So back to Google I go, lol.

Can't beat Haynes manuals. I purchase one for each vehicle I have. YouTube is great, but sometimes you don't want grease all over your tablet. This is always within arm's reach when I'm under my car.

Good for a more experience car person. Because it tried to cover so many model years of the Hyundai Elantra, the photos (which are already a little hard to use because they are in black and white) can be of limited usefulness because the models tend to be different. The maintenance schedule is also a bit on the conservative side.

Hard to find car repair information in this digital day and age. These instructions are clear and easily followed. Was a great help in solving my problem.

Haynes has gone down the road of looking like a genuine repair manual, it however is no longer useful in this regard. There was nearly zero info on the rack and pinion steering no pics useful in any way to adjustment of the rack and pinion steering system.Turns out r/p systems cost roughly 1700.00 more or less. so no means of adjustment is provided.virtually every shop wanted to replace not adjust it is plain to see why.YouTube on the other hand provides this info. its exactly the same as adjusting wheel bearings.as far as i am concerned will no longer buy anything sold by Haynes as a complete means to repair your vehicle.since this is in fact a misrepresentation of the content.MOTORS MANUAL the blue repair manual the provided all the info with pics to do a complete job on your rig.Amazon would do well to not offer this product on its platform.
