Purple/Fuschia Grape Flavored Candy Apple Mix 15 oz

Its great mix. it comes out very nice dark purple- exactly what i needed for Descendants apples. keep in mind- you dont have to use all this amount in once. what you should know- to avoid these bubbles- make sure when you reach 300F turn to low heat and make sure it does not bubble. roll the apple very quickly (seriously very quickly) in it and take it out. it was my first time doing it. some apples didnt come out so nice but most of them were close to perfect. candy on it is absolutely HARD! if you try to eat right away you cant even bite it. But that said- wait a day or so, the hard part wont be that hard anymore. Plus its also good to just cut the apple into slices to eat it that way.

I like the color of the final results, I don’t like how it foams up during cooking can cause a mess, I use wooden spoon over pot to keep mix from boiling over.

Amazon should not be selling this purple candy for apples. I thought I followed all directions carefully. First of all it taste like medicine rather than candy and then I came up with an idea to do the candy apples as decorations only. Well the next morning all of the candy had run completely off the apples that I had planned to have for my daughters 16th birthday. I hate they didn’t work. But I will not be referring anyone to use this product.

This product was great. It has a really good flavor, it sets well, and the color is awesome. Used half the mix with 5 1/2 cups sugar, and 1 cup water.

Awesome mix and GREAT grape flavor! Easy to use. Follow the clear instructions and wait for the right temperature. Very few bubbles on the apple surfaces. I'm so excited to show these off! Will be sure to purchase this brand again.

If I could put no stars I would! The candy would not stick to the apple at al! I followed the instruction very carefully and I also watched YouTube to try other ways because I purchased more than one for a party, I definitely would not recommend
