40509-805-0 Cocotte Round 10cm Grenadine red

Arrived in perfect condition, carefully packaged and shipped from Germany. I have several Staub pieces and they are all incredible. I use this little 12cm pot for a single serving of fresh home-made soup as it distributes heat evenly and does not eventually boil over when left on low simmer heat. I then eat my soup straight out of the pot with the same smallish wooden spoon I used to stir the pot (because wood will not scratch off the matt black porcelain coating inside the pot). One major reason I chose the 12cm size is because I can pick it up and turn it sideways with only one hand (using a potholder) in order to empty the contents without any fuss. I also use it to steam a smallish portion of vegetables by putting in just 5 mm (1/4 inch) of water then throwing in the veggies for just a few minutes, no strainer needed, then I drop a chunk of butter in the pot which melts instantly as i stir it, then I dump it all in bowl using only one hand. I just love this pot! It actually makes cooking fun. It's the perfect quick meal-for-one pot and is really beautiful. The grey colour is very pleasant and super-glossy. it looks much better in-person than in the photos.

I ordered 18cm for making asian soups (Chinese, Japanese and Korean styles). It's perfect for 2-3 servings. Everything is perfect about this pot. I mean PERFECT!

My mom has the 20 inch in matte black and uses it all the time. So of course I needed one lol. I went slightly smaller with the 18cm and it’s perfect. I just made a stew in it and made enough for 4 servings. Super easy to clean and the Cherry Red looks beautiful in my kitchen.

It's very small but good for cooking 1 to 2 meals.

There may be a mistake in the product description. I ordered with Amazon/WarehouseDeals as the seller and received one "Mini" instead of the two stated in the product description. I still rated it high as it is standard Staub quality, but only half the expected quantity.

I bought this for a friend for Christmas and she loves it!!! I added a gold spoon so she can put salt next to her stove and use it as a salt cellar.

I am normally a Staub fan. And these could be lovely but due to the insufficient packaging they often get damaged in transport. And I blame that on the manufacturer. They could easily put some cardboard or tissue between the pot and the lid to prevent them from hitting against each other during transport but there’s nothing. And it’s just too expensive to arrive chipped. Also note that this is very small and will hold less than a cup of water. And you are not supposed to use metal in it. So if you serve a desert in it, you will need to use a wooden spoon to eat it which I personally hate. The color, grenadine, is gorgeous though and it’s a really cute pot if it’s not chipped.

Hab davon bereits den großen Topf. Die Qualität ist top, allerdings war sie mir zu klein für den Preis. Ging daher leider wieder zurück.

Although the box arrived damaged and the handle was loose, Amazon kindly helped to get a refund. Otherwise this Staub mini cocotte will not disappoint. It is very small, for eggs in cocotte and such, but so cute!

Tamanho ideal para pequenas porções de arroz, legumes, cremes e etc para dois e até três. Super recomendo!

Très joli, efficace, très bon produit qui jette lorsqu'on reçoit des invités. On peut notamment servir les légumes pour deux ou des pâtes ou pommes de terre dans une cocotte et cela restera très chaud longtemps
