ALITOVE WS2812B 5V RGB IC Addressable LED Light Strip 6.6FT 5mm Width | 120 LEDs Programmable LED Pixel Strip, Color Changing, Flexible Cuttable Light Strip, for Home Bedroom Bar Gaiming Decor

I've bought multiple sets of these 5mm LED strips and they've all worked great! They're brighter than any other brand I've tried and the fact the strips are only 5mm wide means they'll fit in applications where space is limited. The adhesive backing actually works! Again, the other brand that's all over Amazon has never actually stuck to anything longer than like an hour. The only real drawback is that soldering onto the pads can be a bit more tricky, since they're much closer together, but a worthwhile tradeoff. I also do with they came in longer rolls. After trying other brands, I'm sticking with Alitove for 2812b LEDs, even the normal width ones are brighter and stick to stuff more reliably. Super happy with them. :)

This product was exactly what I needed, it’s a very high quality neopixel strip, and the thickness of it was perfect for what I needed, as regular sized strips wouldn’t work. The color and brightness were both amazing for the price, and the adhesive works better than most other strips! Definitely would buy again!

These perform well and seem to be on par with other WS2812B products on the market. They are considerably thinner than other products, and allow for using these lights in smaller projects than even the standalone WS2812B PCB boards that usually clock in around 10mm x 10mm. My only gripe is that the strip is not 5mm wide as advertised, but rather it is 5.5mm wide. That half mm might not sound like much, but it can be a problem depending on the size of your project. I lucked out in that the project I purchased these for was designed with a 6mm channel. As another reviewer has pointed out, the extra half mm doesn't even appear necessary as there are no traces present in it. The soldering joints between half meter sections are also a bit thicker, but can be carefully dressed down as needed. Looks like they used a lot of heat when soldering the joints though as it toasted one of the nearby LEDs. It still works fine, but it's pretty brown and I'm sure will fail earlier than the others. All said, I bought these for thin WS2812B strips to use in small projects with only a handful of chips at a time. They fit the bill better than anything else on the market right now, and I'll just keep the 5.5mm figure in mind when designing.

Very good bright, affordable programmable LED'S. I have ordered these multiple times and have never had a malfunctioning strip, electrical shorts or any problems. Very good quality lights.

Upgraded a boring integrated standard RGB lightbar to a glorious ARGB lightbar on a Dell G5 5000 PC case. The prebuilt pc doesn't have an ARGB header on Dell’s proprietary mobo, so I use a Coolermaster ARGB Controller which utilizes a usb header for the data signal. However, I discovered that the controller couldn’t power this ARGB light strip on its own… the FIX however was to power the strip directly from a spare PSU sata cable (5V pin and ground pin), and separately wiring the data line from the controller to the data pin. This worked perfectly and now all my RGB components and the integrated case lightbar can be synced. Even better: I don't have to install Dell’s terrible proprietary software to control a single case lightbar!

I needed a slimmer LED Strip and this was perfect half as wide as standard strips, but without reduced brightness or quality. Tape held great. Only downside is the pins are very close I ended up shorting one out and burned up an LED, my fault there, so learn from me and check your pins for shorts before powering it on, once your project is finished it should never move or change.

Bought to code with Arduino, but did not work. There was light when I first played around with it, but only for 5 LEDs (even though my code was for 25). The 5 LEDs were scattered incorrectly along half of the strip, and when I moved the strip by accident, more LEDs lit up, but none of them were the correct color or sequence. As I kept trying to troubleshoot it, the LEDs stopped completely. I figured it might be a faulty connected and cut the strip to solder a new connection, but nothing worked.

Ich habe diese Streifen für ein Modellbauprojekt mehrfach gekauft, da sie nur 5mm breit sind. Bis jetzt funktionieren Sie genau wie beschrieben. Der Klebestreifen auf der Rückseite könnte auf Kunststoff etwas besser haften, sonst alles OK. Auch das Teilen der Streifen in mehrere Segmente funktioniert gut.

Angeschlossen und funktioniert. So wie es sein soll. Das einzige Problem ist, der Streifen ist keine 5mm breit wie angegeben sondern 5,6mm Beim planen aufkleben ist das kein Problem, wenn es aber, wie bei mir, extra passend 3d-gedruckte Teile sind, sind 0,6mm Toleranz der Grund für eine Änderung der Teile im CAD und erneutes ausdrucken, was Zeit und Geld kostet. Dafür ein Stern abzug.
