4 Large Golden Mystery Snails (1/2"-2"+) Algae Eaters, Cleaning Crew Safe for Fish, Plants, and Shrimp

Who orders snails on-line?? That's what everyone was asking me. When you're sipping some wine, hanging out in your pajamas, and you happen to notice that your fish tank has lots of algae on it, taking immediate action seems obvious. You're already on the computer, so checking to see if amazon sells snails....somehow it all made sense at the time. And they do sell them. There are more choices for snails than you'd ever imagine. We were on vacation at the time they were delivered. I had been monitoring their delivery status for a few days and they were late. Our daughter got them for me and we facetimed so I could watch her open the package (because who doesn't want to witness just exactly how snails are sent through the mail?). The snails came wrapped in a moist paper towel and they were firmly taped up. We received 5 snails (I believe there were only supposed to be 3). She dumped them into the tank, and they're doing well. I see them munching on the algae all day. They're super cute, especially when they're fully extended.I would suggest doing some basic research before ordering snails. I was surprised to learn that certain fish will harass them, and that they need hard water and (I think) high alkaline to flourish.Maybe next I'll see if I can order live fish!

Snails arrived wrapped up in a napkin soaked with water, kept in ziplock bag and packed in a 4*4 box with some cushioning. Though I did not expect the package like that but the Snails are alive and started working as soon as I put in aquarium. I dont know about others but I received tiny Snails and two of them are golden yellow and other two are dirty yellow, this i dont care because I take care of them like my babies with lot of love. Later I found that my local petstore selling much bigger snails for 1.99 dollars each, oh regret.

The snails have been in the tank for a couple of weeks now and, are growing fast! I chose the golden mystery snails so I could easily spot them in the aquarium. They really stand out on the drift wood and plants. I would love to find some free or reduced shipping coupons from this company as, I would purchase more if the shipping rates were not so high.

I got 4 large snails and they are doing very well. It took about 3 weeks for them to start moving and I was worried, but now they moving fine and climbing on plants and rocks and fun to watch. I recommend this seller.

I was disappointed in receiving two of the snails deceased when arriving at my door. There were only two survivors which seem to be doing okay so far. I would rate this a five but it's kind of hard to when I'm still recovering from the loss.

They took a month to show up. The company was really good about contacting the post office, but had no luck.About a month later they showed up! ALIVE!! And they are doing great. Cleaned the tank very well. Also nice to watch.

Excellent, I ordered 4 Large Golden Mystery Snails but received total of 5. It took more than 2 weeks to arrived due to shipping procedure. After I open the package, 1 shell was emptied, 4 remain but not sure alive, so right away I put all remain 4 into the tank, no signs of movement for 2 days, on the 3rd day, saw 1 moving around the tank, and day later other 3 are alive. The packing is prefect! 2 thumbs up!!!!

Wonderful snails, packaged so well and put in my tanks and they still thriving!! Wonderful!!
