I'm trying to cut back on my disposable plastics, and looked into waxed fabric as nontoxic food wraps. These work great for dry foods.So far, I used them to store cookies, cover leftover waffles, etc. I wouldn't use this with wet sticky stuff. They're stiff when cool, and soft/pliable when warmed up a bit in your hands. They don't stick to your food or leave a funky odor/taste.It comes with four wraps. Oddly enough, the picture shows a button with a separate string--but in fact, the button and string are sewn directly onto the largest wrap (I actually find this to be infinitely more useful than just a loose button and string lol).A useful DIY would be to sew buttons and string on all the wraps, that way everything stays in place. I'm considering doing this to the smaller wraps since I use them more often.

I love to use these to cover a bowl in the fridge or to wrap up a piece of opened cheese. These are great to use instead of plastic wrap or zip-lock bag if you want to be more Eco-conscious.

This is my first time trying beeswax wraps. I have been pleasantly surprised with how well they keep my food fresh, especially my blocks of cheese. I will certainly consider buying more of these.
