Great product for a non-displaced boxer's fracture
Used for a non-displaced boxers fracture of my right 5th metacarpal (i'm right handed), i had the soft splint on for 3 days and the doctor suggested i get it cast at the orthopedic doctor. That sounded like overkill, so i got this and it worked perfect. My hands are large and skinny but had no problem fitting it, Its pre-molded to the correct hand shape and allows some adjustment. I did eventually get x-rayed again and the doc was impressed and told me to keep wearing it.The absolute best part is being able to take it off and wash your hand, plus it allows a good range of motion of your middle-index-thumb and the hole on the side provides breathability. I've been wearing it over two weeks and the only side effects are some black discoloration on the palm and back of my hand, but it washes off easily. Would 100% recommend this product for anyone (not allergic to neoprene) with a simple fracture similar to mine.

Worked great, very stable
I broke the 5th metatarsal on my right hand. I wanted something other than the "club" that the orthopedic clinic put on me. This fit nicely, was comfortable and easy to use. Now that its off, I'll save it for the next time I do something stupid. I gave it 5 stars, not because I love it, but because it did the job and was MUCH better than the "Club".

A little big, but very supportive.
This brace works well, just a little big for me. I can easily fit 3 fingers into the brace area rather than just the last two fingers. It is uncomfortable for me unless I have 3 fingers supported. Yes, it does have Velcro for adjustment, but it's still too large and awkward if you have small hands. Other than the size, it's perfect. It is soft enough to wear to bed comfortably yet firm enough to support your injury.

It works great. Fit was good and it is more comfortable ...
I purchased this for an injury / sprain between my thumb and index. You are supposed to order the opposite hand if it is for radial gutter treatment. I did! It works great. Fit was good and it is more comfortable than the splint received from my physician. Much needed and relieves the pain associated with this type of injury by limiting the movement of my index finger.

The best!
I tried a few different types of ulnar gutter splints on the cheaper end and they just weren’t offering enough support. I had a 5th metacarpal fracture that I got checked out at Urgent Care and got some X-rays. They wanted me to see a specialist but I was did not have insurance at the time. When I did see a specialist about a month later he wanted me to have a cast put on. He wasn’t impressed with this type of removable splint but I decided to keep using it. I returned 2 weeks later today and he was surprised that the fracture is healed and I have little to no pain in the fracture area. This splint is great once you shape the metal stays to your hand. There are videos offered by the company for that. It will get hot and stinky but it’s even close to how nasty a cast will get. I used some gauze in between my ring and pinky finger for comfort. Keep the thing on 24/7 and you can remove to shower if you’re really careful to not use your injured hand. I even machine washed and hang dried it over night once and wore my other splint for the night.

Can't quench the fire
I've bought a lot of wrist/hand/finger braces. I'm not going to toss this one but it's already in the bottom of my drawer at work. I’m sure it’s good for people who need serious immobilization and maybe are not taking it off regularly, but it’s not something I can just use during the day if I have pinky-finger-on-fire pain setting in. It might be more useful to me as a night brace.I bought this to immobilize my pinky and ring finger. I have smaller hands and those two fingers just float in this. I can't really get it tight enough to prevent them from moving. It would work better probably on the forefinger and middle finger. Also, unlike a lot of wrist braces (even those that immobilize one finger or another), there is almost no way to use a computer with this on. I can barely use my mouse, which means I can't really wear it as much as I would like. It has top and bottom metal braces in it, so removing those gives me a little more range of motion. But it's still very bulky. The third issue I had is that it's confusing to put on. Since you can wear it for either the inner two or outer two fingers, you can put it on two ways. Because of this, it rolls out completely flat without any mesh that helps hold it in shape and guide you the next time you put it on. The tiny black and white diagram that came with is insufficient.

Works great--same one used by orthopedists.
I bought this without knowing that it was both the exact brand and style that was given to me in the office at the orthopedist. Anyway, I needed a second one just to be able to rotate braces. Worked great and cost 3 times less than what I was charged at the doctor's office. Yes, they charged me 3 times the listed price here for the same brace.

Great brace!
I had issues keeping the brace from sliding over my finger tips.
