Zenport Z202 Heavy Duty Pruner, Cut-n-Hold, Red Handles, 8-Inch

Brilliant, in that it cuts the plant and then holds the cutting. Perfect for roses. Saw a demonstration then bought one.

This is a product I wished for and didn’t know it existed! I was so happy when I discovered it and I got to try it out ‘ it works like it should. You clip the stem and the flower stays on the pruners until you release it or take it off. No more bending into prickly rose bushes to collect your cut roses!!! I bought 2 for myself and every rose lover in my family for them for their birthdays ! It’s an amazing must have product!! Would give it 10 stars ⭐️ if I could !!

I cut seed heads off of weeds and flowers and this works great one-handed! Cut, move to bucket and release. You do have to clean them depending on what you are cutting. Sap builds up and they won't release consistently. Works good to cut flowers for vases and pruning roses etc.

I use this pruner for my grafting experiment and it's been working very well. The pruner is very sturdy and comfortable to use. Highly recommended.

I collect seeds for a local Forest Preserve District which includes prairies and savannas. The Zenport Z202 Cut-n-Hold Pruners work excellently. It is essential to be able to hold the clipped stems until they can be deposited in their respective collection bags. I highly recommend these Pruners and I will be buying more for my team members.

Unlike the other reviewer (Rennaissanceman), I am happy to loan this to others! It is sturdy and unlikely to suffer from hard use, but it is not Zen-like or elegant and sometimes the pruner sticks and needs to be manually encouraged. I wanted something a little more robust and feel this will do the job, but while better than my Fiskars, it is not of the same quality as some of my European tools.

If you like Felcos, these are twice as good. They look and feel just like Felcos, cut through stems like butter, just like Felcos. But they are cut and hold, which I LOVE and doesn't have the price tag of a Felco! A dream to use!

Does a good job holding clippings and is very sharp. I use mainly on roses and some hard branches up to 3/8 inch thick. Has become my everyday nipper. I keep her clean and lubed. I did make one modification to the spring wire that was coming up through the slot in the plastic. I forget now exactly what, but I have the wire under the plastic. Maybe yours won't be like mine but it really grabs the clipping like I have it.
