This product does work. My dog has decided that she wanted to use the bed to get my attention to pea and poo on, and this protector held up. I simply picked it up and then wiped with a disinfectant and it was much better than having to use my Bissell green machine to deep clean the actual mattress. I got the zippered kind because we toss and turn, so the ones that simply cover the bed come right off. I have to use the corner clips to keep my sheets on. Now this is the kind that is not meant to be slept directly on, and it does make a LITTLE ruffling noise under your sheets- but nothing like the old kind that little kids used to sleep on. It isn't noticeable.It is a cheaper protector- I did not expect anything expensive for the price. The zipper is not designed to be used more than the one time to zip up the mattress. I am happy with this product, and you will be too if you need something to simply cover a mattress and NOT sleep directly on. If you want one that you can sleep on like a mattress cover sheet- look at something else.

I bought this product the end of Feb off Amazon. It was shipped fast, material was very thin. I put it on mattress under sheets soon after arriving Yesterday the sheet had slipped back off mattress revealing the cover was torn . Looks like a cheap price is a cheap product .there is a web site and phone number to call manufacturer direct! I wonder I it’s worth my time. 😢🤔

Would recommend this for a toddlers bed easy to keep clean doesn't make a lot of noise since it's plastic but keeps the mattress from getting wet any size in this would work helps protect the mattress definitely would recommended

10 minutes after putting it on we heard a loud pop. Came into the bedroom to find it ripped all across the side and onto the top of the mattress.

It help with mattress but my pad ripped have to get another pad

Smells like chemicals, also ripped on the sides while putting it on. my mattress isn’t even thick, it’s a bunk bed sized mattress of like 4inches. Not worth $12 at best $8 for how thin it is

I bought this to be an inner liner for a futon couch (in which the mattress is also the entire cushion) to protect it from our pets. Straight out of the package, this smelled bad. It is definitely not odorless, but I planned to cover it with another cloth cover for easy cleaning. I made sure to be extremely careful when wriggling the mattress into it, but that did not matter. It ripped when I was almost done. The rip was on the bottom side, and I had already spent more time than I should have to get it on that far, so I decided to leave it on as it should still do what I bought it for as long as the top did not rip, too. Once it was situated for zipping up, I started to zip it up and the zipper just peeled right off the cover. Luckily, I realized this was happening and only got 6" of it pulled off before I stopped to hold it in place and zip it the rest of the way up. I could probably glue it back in place, but that is more effort than this cheap thing is worth, especially since it rips so easily. I would not trust it to be washed in the washing machine as it is advertised.Would not buy again or recommend and will probably be replacing it come time to wash the outer cover.
