I love this tool. It worked exactly as described and I was able to do what I needed to do by myself using this tool. I added a door stopper to the top hinge of my doors. Great value for the money and it’s made in the USA!

Had 1 squeaky hinge on our bedroom door. I've tries drift and screwdrivers with a hammer to try and beat that dang thing out but it wouldn't budge.. Got this little tool in the mail and finally removed cleaned and lubed that pesky hinge pin. Did the other two hinges as well and no more squeaky door! the pin on this tool did slightly mushroom after that first pin but still worked well for three more doors around the house. The tool can also be used to fully remover the pin after it's been partially removed by the tool with the other end of this tool. Made pulling pins easier that I've ever experienced. Get one.

I spent at least half an hour trying without success to remove a hinge pin without damaging the finish with a small hammer and a variety of small steel rods to reach the pin in question. No luck. In frustration, I bought this tool. Two quick taps of the hammer and the hinge pin was loose and I could remove it easily. The price is a bit steep, but for me it was worth the saved time and no hassle.

this little tool is a God Send! It makes getting the hinge pins out very easy! I will always have it in my tool box now! A GREAT Product!!

This thing is magic! I have an external heavy door with hinges that have been painted over more than once, weathered because close to outside and generally stuck. Tried everything to cut off the paint, hammered the hinge pin until things were falling off the wall around me. I got frustrated. Googled solutions and this came up in the search. I thought there was no way this was going to work if I couldn't use a hammer and Allen wrench. 30 seconds. That's all it took. Line it up, hammer a good bit until the pin moves up, turn the tool upside down and pry the pin out the rest of the way. Shocked I say! I'm so happy to have added this to my tool chest.

This has the potential to be a really cool tool. I was excited to use it, as a professional handyman, I do a lot of door work. It fits nicely in the hinge corner, to make hinge pin removal very easy, particularly the bottom hinge. And then, the top v-groove works great to help slide the pin the rest of the way out of the hinge, even for tight hinges. But the steel pin only lasted about 6 doors for me, before it broke off out of the plastic base, rendering the tool pretty much useless. It wasn't like I hit it crooked or jammed it in the hinge, either. Just a stubborn hinge pin, and a direct hit from the hammer on the bottom of the unit caused it to break. Maybe they can make one a bit more robust for real world, professional use. A great idea, but flawed in execution.

Great product, and simple to use. The construction of the item helps to knock the pin out of it's place easy, preventing possible bents if done incorrectly.

Works well but bear in mind that some hinge pins are swaged over top and bottom and I had to hacksaw one of the swages off for the tool to work- oh, and plenty of WD40 on old (really old!) hinges! Other than that a decent addition to any general toolbox- a few friends have asked me to borrow it too!

I bought this as the door pin was jammed and I was unable to remove it with a nail. The hinge removal tool made the removal very easy and ensured that I did not damage the walls or door. Worth the spend!
