Lutron Claro Blank Insert, DV-BI-WH, White

My new ceiling fan only used one switch and a remote control. Instead of having a useless switch that I will keep flipping, I used this to just remove the switch and block off the hole. I have all Lutron Claro switches, so this looks and fit great. Just seems REALLY expensive for a little piece of plastic considering an entire Claro switch is the same price?

Replaced a switch with this, as the switch was originally used for a lamp, but now it’s a printer, and inconvenient to be turning off printer when turning on or off light. Works as intended and printer stays on. Pretty awesome, looks slick.

Looks and matches the color of lutron face plates. Easy to install (2 screws) but wish they had a robertson head as you need a Phillips of flat screw driver to install. It does it's job functioning as a blank, although non blanks are seemingly cheaper to purchase. Screw length fits standard depth boxes.

it was a little costly for a piece of plastic, but it matches nice and looks great with the claro screwless cover.

I have a two gang switch in my dining room, so when I replaced the dimmer switch, I got this to fill the blank space. It looks great and does it's job!

This is really expensive for what it’s, so in 2016, I bought the hardware store brands at 1/3rd of the price. After 4 years, those became yellowish as seen on the picture, so now I had to come back and buy these Lutrons to match the plates. If looks are not important, you can get away with those cheaper ones, but if you have invested in the Lutron plates already, get the Lutron insert from the start so the color doesn’t change.

Yes Lutron Stuff is expensive but it's also well made. This blank plate is thicker and more rigid then Leviton or others. It's UV resistant and doesn't yellow over time. Best of all it's a perfect color match to Lutron Claro Wall Plate. Highly Recommend ... I would order it again.

Pricy for a piece of plastic but does what it does. I returned this product after deciding to wall mount a Pico remote instead of having one spot useless.
