I needed new alarm clocks as my dogs reacted every time I checked the time, my old clock would light up whenever needed to see the time and made a small buzz noise, This caused my shepherds to “ check the room “ including my wife and I! At four in the morning not a good thing!These clocks are excellent, easy to use, the clock is finished off well and the dial can be lamp bright or almost not visible! The light setting is so simple to use, I dim mine down so it’s just visible, perfect now can see the time without moving or waking the rest of the house!

This is an absolutely brilliant clock. I highly recommend. So easy to use, easy to set up, and easy to switch off or snooze. Brightness adjustment is superb and very easy to adjust. Numbers are easy to see and to top off this clock looks fantastic too!

for me personally this is the best digital clock i have ever known, i bought it for my sister but as soon as it arrived and i plugged it in and saw the lovely orange (not yellow) display i ordered another one for myself, unfortunately i ordered it without checking the alarm facility, although i diddnt get mine for the alarm i did for my sister. the alarm is very quite and unbelievably switches itself off after 1 minute, kind of defeats the object of an alarm clock. the numbers are big nearly 2 inches the light is a lovely orange no glare at all even at highest brightness level the wheel can turn the brightness down to almost zero if thats what you wanted, keeps perfect time (checked with radio controlled clock has not lost a second in 1 week so far very simple to use (hold the snooze down to set the time) hold alarm down when setting the allarm but dont forget to press alarm again to activate it power lead is about 45 inches so plenty long enough i would have prefered it a bit heavier but not really a problem. absolutely brilliant clock just a shame about the alarm. have had clock on for a week now and is as cool to the touch as it was before i plugged it in, it doesnt get hot or melt or loose time or switch itself off!

I've waited for this for years. How can anyone get so excited over an alarm clock? Well, here's how...I'm a light-sensitive sleeper. Any light keeps me awake. So, for the last 5 years my 'dimmable' alarm clock has resided under the bedside cabinet. It was the best I could find. On the lowest setting, it still disturbed me. If I wanted to know the time in the night, I had to roll over and lean out of bed to see the clock under the bedside table. As a little appendage to the story, my career compelled me to adapt to a 24-hour clock. So on to the product. Easy to set the time & alarm (the instructions are on the bottom of the clock in case you lose the leaflet). It can be powered by USB or mains (plug provided). The alarm becomes more insistent the longer you leave it. Just press the hour button for 2 seconds and it changes to 24-hour clock. But best of all, the scroller wheel control for brightness really does go down to next to nothing. Top setting is very bright - on its very lowest setting, you can just about make out the time in the dark. Perfect! My alarm clock is now on top of my bedside table, it's small it's light enough for travel, it has a 24-hour clock and the brightness of the display does not disturb me one iota. Heaven!

I bought this to replace my ancient 1980s clock/radio/phone which finally gave up the ghost. I am very short-sighted and so needed a clock with big numbers that I could read in the dark without my glasses, but I didn't want the numbers to be too bright. I also wanted a mains-powered clock.This little clock is perfect for what I need. The dimmable display is excellent and on the darkest setting the numbers are large enough for me to read without my glasses, but not too bright. The two USB ports are very useful and I keep my phone and my Kindle charging overnight.The clock is very easy to set - and there's a video available online if you get stuck. The alarm could be louder, but as I have my phone and tablet, I prefer to use the alarms on those instead.There's an optional feature to add backup batteries in a small compartment at the back, as well having the mains connection, but I've not put batteries in. The clock is lightweight and easy to knock over, so I may put a small plastic bag of nails or screws into the battery compartment to add a extra weight.Overall, this clock is very good value for money and has lots of features that make this a very useful addition to my bedside table.

Perfect. Can used in a dull mode or very bright. No noise. Easy to use.

Very nice and clear display very pleased

We loved this clock as it has a large bright display so is easy to see across the room in the dark. We only recently discovered it has USB charging ports on the back, which comes in handy for charging my daughters phone. Sadly, in recent weeks, 2 of the light up sections that make up the number's, have stopped working properly (see pic), making it difficult to tell the time. We have had the clock for 4 years though.
