A good product
I bought this cleaner on a whim and I'm glad I did. I soaked lots of old nibs, some with waterproof ink caked on them that I was going to throw out.... But the cleaner worked and they came out fine and usable. There was no rust or damage to the nib- just shiny and clean! Even when you clean your nibs as you go, it's still helpful to have this cleaning solution as it gets ink out of fragile parts of the pen and makes them factory new again. Also, if you feel like being lazy you can just pop the lightly cleaned nibs into the jar and leave them there for as long as you like and get them out later. I left about 15 in the jar for a few months and even though the solution was murky it still worked and still cleans other nibs. It's a good product.

This really worked well.
Bought this to clean the nib on my vintage fountain pen. I admit I was skeptical. Rinsing it in warm water didn’t work so why would this? Well it worked. Cleaned out all the dried ink in the nib and restored it to a free flowing pen. Could see all the dried bits on the bottom of the glass jar. Cleaned my Mont Blancs as well. Great product and well worth the money.

Speedball... when you just want to take a quick dip in the essence of clean and you don't have a swimming pool of oxyclean handy
I thought this was cleverly disguised illegal drugs from the deceitful product name. False advertisement anyone? I could've accidentally smoked this stuff and then I'd have a major American style lawsuit on my hands because the bottle... and I searched for hours... clearly doesn't have a label that says "Warning: Do not smoke this stuff because it ain't illegal drugs." So I guess I could try using it to clean my fountain pen collection of the fine quality inks that I run through them (all made in America, heck yeah!). It's almost like this stuff not only cleans my pens, but cleans my conscience of the terribly foolish things I've probably written down beforehand to get people's attentions in my super secret diary. I hear the paper crying at night, begging to be used for a more productive purpose, but I take another shot of Speedball 2-Ounce Pen Cleaner and all I can hear are ghost kittens serenading me with their jug band style of heavy metal church hymns. There's weird particulates floating around in the bottle that I can only imagine are bits of magical cleaning genies in little bottles swirling around the abyss of this small jar of wonders. Good luck with this stuff guys. It's a lot fancier than soap and water, and I almost want to rub a little bit of it on my teeth in the morning just to have that extra sparkle of clean. I'd dip my pen parts into this stuff any day with no fear of them corroding and leaving me like all of the women and cats of my life have done.

Cleans quite well
I bought a bottle of this cleaner several years ago and loved it! It works great for regular fountain pen nibs used for everyday writing, like mine. One 2 ounce bottle lasts me for many cleanings though the cleaning solution looks yucky from previous cleanings, just flush the nib with warm water. I recently ordered another 2 ounce bottle of Speedball cleaner because of how well it cleans my fountain pens and keeps them writing smoothly. I highly recommend this cleaner.

Gives New Life to Clogged-Up Pens
For sketching and drawing, I normally use fountain pens and converters. One of my favorite pens was still clogging, even after disassembling and cleaning with hot water and soap. I had considered springing for an ultrasonic cleaner, but had seen recommendations for this cleaner. Got it, rinsed out the pen (and any remaining ink) with water, then soaked it for about an hour. To be sure it was working, I also purged and refilled the converter while soaking. So far, pen has been working fine, like new.

including a great Sheaffer fountain pen
I recently found an old desk pen set that had been in storage for years, including a great Sheaffer fountain pen. I let the fountain pen soak in the cleaner for just a few minutes and it came out clean and working perfectly. Very satisfied.

Not sure if I'm using it correctly
I bought this to clean my Speedball pen tips and I'm not sure I'm using it right, but it does the trick so I guess that's what matters, haha. At first I tried pouring a bit out of the bottle and soaking my tips, but I didn't want to end up running out of cleaner while doing a lot of writing. So next, I dropped the tips into the bottle. BAD idea! I had such a hard time getting them out! I had to get a toothpick and fish them out very carefully. In the end, I settled on leaving the tip in and just plopping the whole pen in. My cleaner is now black, but I still end up with a nice clean pen afterwards, so I'm happy.

Okay for the first few times
It worked well for around five times I used it. It got as black as the india ink I used which is expected. It doesn't remove all of the dried ink from my nibs anymore but it still cleans a fair amount but I'm not sure if it would be different if I used soap and water. So some of my nibs are tinted now but I don't know if it's the fault of the cleaner or my nibs which were cheap ones (Hunt 101). Anyway, I still use it. EDIT: I think this cleaner will last you a lot longer if you have a just a small dish of water to rinse your dip nibs into. Just try to get as much ink off the nib as you can with the water in the dish, dry it off with a cloth or paper towel, then drop the nibs in the bottle, after which you can rinse with different clean water after the suggested 30 minute soaking time.

Saved my pen
This stuff saved the life of my new fountain pen. Being a novice, I accidentally put ink containing shellac into my pen, then let it dry. I thought it was ruined, no amount of soaking in warm water would clean it out and I couldn't persuade the ink to flow. But a soak in this and a rinse did the trick. I confess though that I forgot about it and left it for 2 hours, rather than the recommended 30 minutes. Didn't hurt my Parker IM at all.

Excelente producto, no tan buen vendedor.
Me encanta el producto, no tiene pierde, pero al ser entregado se le estaba chorreando el contenido. Tengan más cuidado en cómo lo empacan.
