While the tubing is somewhat stiff which makes it hard to get over barbed connections in cooler weather a lighter or hair dryer softens it and they slip on easily. The stiffness is a benefit- I have tried PVC tubing which I initially liked because it is softer and connected easily but it popped off connections with regularity and what I didn’t replace with this tubing Ive ad to add zip ties to keep from constantly popping. I will eventually replace all the pvc with this Raindrip tubing. It’s worth the minor additional effort to soften when needed and know it won’t require constant maintenance

I purchased this tubing for an outdoor misting system rather than a traditional drip irrigation setup, and it worked perfectly. The tubing was flexible enough to route where I needed it while still being stiff enough to stay in place once installed. It fit all of my standard 1/4-inch push-to-connect fittings securely, and I didn't have any issues with leaks or the tubing pulling out of the fittings. The 100-foot roll also gave me plenty of length with some left over for future projects. I have installed it and it works. This product has designs that fit specific needs. I bought this and it works with the "Flantor Drip Irrigation Kit" that I bought earlier. It also fits the 1/2 threaded-1/4 barb converter with 5mm OD+ 6.5mm barb. Disadvantage: There are earlier reviews saying it's stiff and needs extra care to reshape. I've found the same. They are way stiffer than the Flantor tubes, so I need to use my hairdryer to heat them before forcing them over the barb. After blow-heating, they can get on the original barbed drip heads by Flantor, but they need 2 steps to fit the 6.5mm barbs: I use the Flantor barbs to expand these pipes first, then heat them again, then push them onto the 6.5mm. I suggest either preparing them indoors first or connecting a power cable to your work site. In comparison, my Flantor pipes are soft and can be directly pushed in. The advantage of being stiffer is that once installed, they can withstand much stronger water pressure. In comparison, my water pressure is higher so my original Flantor pipes (designed for <20 psi systems) pop open sometimes, and my current solution is to bury them in the earth. This new pipe works fine at higher pressure and has never popped. In summary, if your water pressre is <20psi, you may find this pipe too stiff and hard to install, but if you have the same high pressure issue like me and don't want to install another regulator, you may like this type of stiff pipes. I only had it for a week so I cannot comment on the durability in the California sun.

Works well as expected. A little stiff and tends to keep its original coiledform,but works well.

I bought this thinking it was Rainbird 1/4 in. tubing. The tubing works for a while but ends up blasting off and creating leaks all over my garden by the end of the season. This tubing is softer and does not hold its grip on the connector as well as Rainbird’s more rigid tubing.

Bought to supplement a drip irrigation kit and it worked well. Definitely needs heat to push onto fittings. We used a lighter and it seemed to work. Anything more than that it will melt and deform. Also, leave it in the sun on the driveway before working with it so it is softer. 5 star if you're looking for durability, 4 star if you need something easy to work with.

Build quality was superb. Works as expected.

Great 1/4" tubing for micro spray setup. I used this with orbit 8port manifold in my veg garden sprinkler. this one is a good deal and tubing is stiff enough to not pinch and cause line kinks. if you buy the same brand but the VT tubing, that one is soft and pinches easy so that may not be what you need. bought 3 of these. works well. can even be buried because it is stiff to take the weight.
